Relying on the universe or God
Trusting in God, whether it be universe or higher power is harder said than done. In any case, it is trusting that things will go right for you. You will find your prince(s) on the white horse. You will find that dream job. You will find your dream home. Everything will work out and God or the universe is going to provide it for you
Confidence in achieving your goals
Everything you want to be is essentially a personal goal, and you can trust that you’ll achieve those goals.
But how do you determine your goals now and are they really best for you?
Goals are often ego-driven and do not serve the highest purpose, because you don’t know what that is.
You are tempted to go back into a story. A marketer's story or what other people tell you what you should want to achieve.
You are tempted with the number of followers, status, power, lust, money or gluttony. Many sins lure you back into a particular story.
That narrative knows what you’re sensitive to, so “they” keep bringing up certain issues.
I felt I was again engaged in a particular story, which was not mine. Not really.
After one particular lesson from A Course in World in Miracles, that was gone again, because many goals are actually fake goals. That, of course, is not a bad thing.
According to "the story," you should empty your shower tip if it's clogged. But if the story is going to lead you instead of you leading or influencing it? Then what?
Now when do you let yourself or the universe or something guide you?
And when you let it go, everything often goes just right and works the way it does.
Then there is also often a part of me that says, "Well sounds nice, but we can accelerate this, we can do that. Let's use the law of attraction more."
Maybe you know that feeling of wanting to do something anyway. We want to influence that which comes naturally when we let it.
Often, you'll still find that things don't move faster than they do.
Things can happen quickly if you make it happen, but if you want to make it happen suddenly it can take a while.
I find it so interesting that the more you engage with things, the more coincidental things become.
I know roughly where I'm going or want to go, but then I think, "Yes you can do it now." But it's not like that, because there are all these processes that precede it.
You also can't walk right away when you are born. You have to prepare for the first step.
Research even shows that when learning new things, both the material and immaterial aspects of the universe play a role in human consciousness. Things will therefore reveal themselves to you as you direct your thoughts in a certain direction[1].
You have to trust the process, so to speak.
Trust that it happens for you and not against you.
This is hard to see in the moment, but if you dare to take it on, it does come easier.

Enterprise and confidence
Confidence in the process and not going after things full of tension can also be helpful in business. For example, as an entrepreneur, you can gain a lot from your network, and confidence plays an important role in this network.
However, trust is something that must be earned and takes time to develop[2]. By continuing to interact normally and having fun interactions, you can build it. It is very difficult to force trust.
Many entrepreneurs, for example, are coaches, or coaching people is in some way part of what they do. In those cases, too, trust plays an important role.
What is important to build this trust is:
- Showing your skills and integrity.
- Clarity about the process and expected results.
- Show that you’re friendly and have a connection with your (potential) client[3].
So it's important to demonstrate this, but it may take a while to have the desired effect. After all, you can't force the other person.
Confidence in yourself
In addition, you can also trust yourself. When the time is right, you, too, will see the opportunities that lie ahead.
Sometimes you might also have a run of bad luck and get sick or face another problem. Even then, you can trust the process. You’ll often receive help from experts and those around you, and they’ll let you know when you need to take it easy or, on the contrary, go all out—for example, if it involves something physical.
It can be frustrating if you’re not yet where you want to be, but by trusting that everything will work out, you’ll also be able to enjoy the recovery process more instead of feeling down that you’re not there yet[4].
That positivity is also more convenient, if only because your mood is better.
What can help if you have a goal that you feel is still far away is to set process goals[5].
You can say, "I'm happy when I make 1 million." Instead, you can also say, "I'm happy when I've made posts on social media." And so you can move forward with your process goals each time.
Or instead of "I'm happy when I weigh X pounds" say, "I'm happy when I've eaten healthy."
This approach also helps build your self-confidence more effectively than goals that depend on external factors, and it can reduce your fear that things won’t turn out well after all.
Trust in the universe and patience
As you could see from my own experiences, I’d like to achieve certain things more quickly, and that’s actually a feeling of impatience. If you can’t trust the universe or that God has mapped out a good path for you, it may be because you really want something very quickly. You’re a bit impatient.
So you can learn things and have process goals rather than end goals to reduce that patience a bit, but what if that rushed impatient feeling still remains?
In this case, you can explore why you are so impatient. Why does everything in your life have to move quickly? Get to you quickly? Why do you feel that way?
This feeling depends on the beliefs you have about the world and how you are supposed to function in it.
These beliefs often arise when you are very young, before the age of seven or eight. And generally people don't double-check their beliefs about the world. But if you want to rely more on the universe or on God and you find that you can't, it may be helpful to do so.
One way to double-check your beliefs is to simply have a good conversation with someone else and determine the logic of your beliefs. Sometimes it can be enough if you find out that other people think very differently about certain things than you do.
But sometimes more is needed than that. In such cases, you can undergo regression with the help of a hypnotherapist. With regression, you mentally go back to the moment when a certain belief originated. The hypnotherapist helps you find that moment.
Then, in your mind, you start doing something with that moment. You can reinterpret it. For example, by using your current knowledge about life and why people do what they do to empathize with the other individuals who were influential in that moment.
This can already lead to whole new insights.
Sometimes you can also use your imagination to change the moment. For example, you can let your adult self talk to your younger self and take it to the safe place where you are now.
You can then also take away new beliefs in the form of affirmations that you can repeat regularly. For example, if you practice self-hypnosis at home.
These may include:
"Everything happens for a reason to make my life better in the long run."
"Patience is a virtue."
"I trust the universe/God."
"I see opportunities when I'm ready for them," he said.
"Everything comes just in time."
These are just examples. Depending on your beliefs about trusting the universe, you may be given other suggestions or affirmations to repeat during self-hypnosis.
