God has a plan for your life: that's why health is important

I was triggered by a follower. I had posted a picture of my progression from tired and lifeless to fit and energetic and much stronger. That was an ego thingy. I am proud of it and then someone said, "Yes, the body is not important at all and you have fallen into the trap of how society wants you to look."

That triggered me so much that I immediately thought, "What the heck, you must be one of those smoking fat women," nice and spiritual of me. So I wanted to respond to that.

But then I started thinking about it.

My first reaction is often, "What do you know?" But then I thought, "Does that person have a point? And actually he does."

Because imagine that person is right. Have I fallen into a trap? Am I doing too much physically and too little spiritually?

Then I thought, "Is someone more spiritual if they live healthier? If there is a hierarchy, is that better than being less healthy?" Actually no, because essentially everyone is the same. So none of that matters.

That would be crazy, too. Because then we’d never grant spiritual salvation to anyone who’s living an unhealthy lifestyle.

All the people who are half paralyzed in wheelchairs: "Too bad, you don't move so you're never going to make it," which of course makes no sense at all.

Two sides affecting the plan

But then why am I doing this? Because you might as well smoke, snort, and drink —or whatever else.

I’ve experienced both sides, so I have a sort of frame of reference for myself. I’ve always been spiritually inclined and interested in life after death. That was something I was interested in, and I had a strong connection with God or a higher self or something like that.

It’s quite spiritual, but I ruined my body. Because of the drugs, alcohol, and smoking, other forces came into play. That’s how I attracted negative forces. I started hearing depressive and suicidal voices in my head.

Because yes, if you can easily receive on one side, you can on the other. So you can receive the light, but there are also brothers of the shadow who like to keep you from that light. One of the tools for going to the shadow are addictions, such as alcohol and drugs. Because those keep you from your own plan, then you forget the plan.

You try to find that plan by following your intuition and passion, and suddenly something unfolds that makes you think, “Yes, this is it.”

But when you destroy your body with drugs, booze, smoking and blowing, you lose touch. With me, it wasn't that the plan was no longer there, but the bad voices got the upper hand, so to speak. And especially with cocaine I became a different person every time, then I would get a voice in my head with: "More, more, more."

When I stopped doing that, I got better contact.

So when you get fresher, you get fresher contact.

Contact becomes more clear. So the channel of yourself with your higher self is purer when you purify your body.

So even though you might be harming your body, you still have that connection. So even if you still smoke or overeat , you can maintain this connection—but (and this is without blame) you’re not being a helpful tool for yourself this way.

God's plan for my life

In my case, that wasn’t true. I was tired. My personal goal is to make everyone aware that there are possibilities—possibilities to look at things differently than you do now. If you view things through a depressive lens, you can also view them through a cheerful one.

If I'm tired and I want to sell everything and just lay on the couch, that's okay. That's okay, only then I renounce my plan. Then when I die, they come up with: "Yes, you did make that agreement with yourself what your higher purpose was and go try again then." So I don't feel like that.

So now I've kind of neglected that in the past and now I'm trying to make up for that. I don't know how much time I have here, but I'm also just trying my best.

So somewhere I agree with that person that the body is not something "true," but I do think that the body is a spiritual vehicle, a way to play out the deal you have with yourself and the collective to make that story the best it can be. To use that "avatar" to the best of your ability.

Without attaching to the results and the whole idea further.

God's plan is actually your plan

You are here to carry out a particular plan. Some people call this God's plan, but I call it your plan. And it helps then if you have a healthy body to help you carry it out and be able to do it for as long as possible.

I believe this could literally save several lives.

Yes, so somewhere the body is not important, because in essence it is all one. Love and light, but somewhere from love and light, we made a plan to be here and to carry out that plan, whatever that plan is.

You want to be here, so make it happen.

My plan is to try to make people aware that there are other ways to look at things. This can be done on a small and large scale. So is that better or worse? No, it just is.

Now I just want to see if I can succeed in making the whole world aware. That's quite an ambitious plan and everyone has their contribution to that. Some do it in their own families, others with their parents, others in the community and others just with themselves. Nothing is better or worse.

But I have the curse of ambition 😉 . Then you need a vehicle that can fulfill that ambition, and not everyone does.

How do you know what God's plan is?

But how do you know what your plan is? Why were you sent to this earth, and why is this important? Researchers indicate that spirituality and believing in, for example, God’s plan helps you give your life meaning, gives you a sense of control, and is good for your self-confidence[1].

So how do you know what God's plan is? This is something you could resolve with a good conversation or else a socratic conversation. For example, you could identify what have been important life lessons for you so far and if there is somehow a red line in this. What have certain events in your life meant to you?

This directly helps you to also figure out if God's plan for you is something that is mostly for yourself or as my gut tells me is something I need to give to the world or just in between. Is there something you need to learn or is there something you need to learn in order to then pass it on and if so, to how many people?

What’s also interesting is that believing in your own plan—or in God’s plan—reduces stress for some people, while for others it actually increases stress[2]. For example, American research showed that among lower-income African Americans, believing in God’s plan reduced stress, while among white people aged 65 and older, it actually caused more stress, regardless of their self-confidence, sense of competence, and personal resources.

That’s actually quite interesting, and it also shows that if the idea that God has a plan for your life causes you stress, it might be best to let go of that idea. Ultimately, it’s helpful to have beliefs that help you move forward in life and don’t act as obstacles.

For example, I also once helped a woman who came from a nasty family and was very troubled by the idea that your soul chooses your parents, so to speak. That didn't work for her and I helped her let go of it.

Finding your plan, your passion, your mission—or whatever you want to call it—is something hypnotherapy can help with. For example, with regression, you can explore life experiences, and with progression, you can even see where your life is headed.

But do you just feel that your plan or God's plan for you is something that doesn't make you happy? Then hypnotherapy can also help you let go of this idea and instead reinforce the idea that you are in control of your plan. As I said, there are two ways you can look at what God's plan is. And I would say, "Choose the way that makes you happy."
