Deep trance identification compared to traditional learning

Are you tired of practicing endlessly, taking courses and still feeling like your skills are only progressing by mouth? You're not alone. Many people experience frustration with the slow and often inefficient learning processes we have traditionally known.

The search for a method to enable rapid skill learning is more urgent than ever in our rapidly changing world. Studies are already being conducted on alternative ways of learning, such as deep learning[1] and Deep trance identification.

As an experiencer in both traditional learning and the revolutionary Deep Trance Identification (DTI), I have seen the power of an approach that breaks through conventional limits of time and effort.

Imagine being able to integrate the expertise of the greatest masters or experts, almost as if you were copying their blueprint directly into your own mind. This blog article dives deeper into the direct comparison between DTI and traditional learning methods, revealing why speed and convenience can finally win in your learning process.

Slow learning is a belief

In an era when new skills are becoming obsolete faster than ever, the traditional learning process often feels like a tough job. We have been conditioned to believe that true mastery requires years of toil, repetition and sometimes expensive coaching. This path is littered with frustration:

  • Time investment: It takes months, if not years, to master a new skill, from a new language to a complex sport.
  • Plateaus: You reach a point where progress stagnates, no matter how hard you practice. This can be demotivating.
  • Fees: Training, workshops and personal coaching can be a hefty drain on your budget.
  • Lack of integration: Sometimes you learn something but it doesn't really feel "your own. It remains superficial knowledge rather than deeply integrated skill.

These challenges lead many to drop out before they reach their full potential. But what if there were a different, faster and much more efficient learning strategy?

What if our thoughts about learning aren’t true and are merely limiting beliefs?

The pros and cons of traditional learning

This is not to say that traditional learning doesn’t work or is bad. Before we open the revolutionary doors of DTI, it’s important to recognize the value of traditional learning methods. These methods form the backbone of our educational system and have helped millions of people develop skills.

Benefits:

  • Structured foundation: Traditional education, whether in school, through courses or with a coach, often offers a logically structured curriculum. This provides a solid foundation.
  • Deep understanding: Through repetition, theory and practice, you can develop a very deep understanding of a subject.
  • Discipline and perseverance: It requires consistency and mental resilience, traits that are valuable in their own right.
  • Social interaction: Group classes, mentoring and team training provide opportunities for feedback, collaboration and networking.
  • Certification and recognition: Official degrees and certificates are widely recognized in society and the job market.

Yes, our degrees are also recognized and important to many hypnotherapy associations.

Frustrating disadvantages of traditional learning

Despite the advantages, there are significant drawbacks to traditional learning, especially when speed and efficiency are paramount.

  • Time-consuming: It can take years to reach a high level of proficiency. Think about your black belt in Aikido, mastering a musical instrument or being fluent in a new language.

Although I have to say that in Aikido, I passed the black belt in 3 years. Something considered impossible before that time. So this was due to the combination of traditional learning and DTI.

  • Difficult and exhausting: The learning process is often demanding, requires a lot of mental energy, and can lead to exhaustion and burnout.
  • Inefficiency: There is a lot of "noise" in the learning process, such as redundant theory, irrelevant exercises, or methods that don't fit your personal learning style.
  • Dependence on external factors: You depend on the quality of your instructor, the availability of courses and your physical capabilities.
  • Difficult to integrate: Sometimes you "know" something, but can't effortlessly apply it in practice. The gap between theory and practice can be wide.

For many, these drawbacks are reason enough to look for an alternative, faster route.

Deep Trance Identification: Speed and ease of action

This is where Deep Trance Identification (DTI) comes in - a radically different approach to skill acquisition that focuses on accelerated learning through deep hypnosis. DTI is not a traditional course or endless practice session; it is a focused, in-depth mental procedure.

It's also something we use during our training.

What is Deep Trance Identification?

DTI allows you to "copy" the essence, strategies and even neurological patterns of a skilled master and integrate them into your own unconscious. It is as if you are temporarily stepping into that person's skin and experiencing how they think, feel and act with regard to that particular skill. This occurs in a very deep state of hypnosis, allowing your subconscious to be directly accessed by this profound installation.

As mentioned, I achieved my black belt in Aikido in just three years by stepping into the role of masters such as Morihei Ueshiba and Christian Tissé. This is an incredible acceleration compared to the ten to fifteen years it normally takes. The technique works by opening the "doors" in your mind to specific skills.

Benefits of deep trance identification

DTI's strength lies in its speed and effortlessness.

  • Lightning-fast skill acquisition: Where traditional learning takes weeks, months or even years, DTI can install a skill in one or a few deep sessions. Integration is nearly instantaneous.
  • Effortless integration: Because the process takes place in deep hypnosis, your subconscious mind cooperates without the resistance often experienced with conscious practice. The skill immediately feels natural and your own.
  • Lasting results: Once the door is open, of a skill achieved, it never closes. The skills integrated through DTI become deeply ingrained in your neurological structure. I noticed after a DTI with John Grinder that my calibration skills increased initially times a hundred, and remained permanently improved times ten. This is evidence of the "lasting" effect of DTI.
  • Access to mastery: You get direct access to the essence of the very best in their field, whether it's strategic thinking, charisma or specific technical ability.
  • Bridges learning barriers: DTI can bypass mental blocks, fear of failure or perfectionism because the skill is installed at a deeper, unconscious level.

This is not magic, but an advanced application of hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) that harnesses the power of our unconscious to learn.

What choice should you make?

The choice between DTI and traditional learning is not always black and white. Both have their place, depending on your learning goal.

For complex problems and theories, such as quantum physics or historical matters, traditional learning, in which study and discussion are important, is inevitable.

Improving sports performance also comes primarily with repeated practice. While DTI can play a supporting role, it certainly won't replace it.

Learning social skills in specific situations, such as negotiating or developing empathy, is also something that traditionally works better, because practice and feedback play an important role in these areas. This is also a key factor in our hypnotherapy training program for improving skills as a hypnotherapist.

Professions in which knowledge and skills are important, such as when you are a lawyer, pilot or doctor, also require structured learning and feedback in your actions.

THIS if...

DTI is a good choice in specific copyable skills, such as developing charisma, persuasion, creativity, strategic insight and improving your problem-solving abilities.

Changing your mindset—such as fostering a growth mindset and overcoming fear of failure—is easier with DTI.

If you want to learn competencies quickly (as I did with aikido) then DTI is a good support in addition to the traditional route.

DTI helps you change not only what you "do," but also who you "are" in relation to the skill. It's about embodying the skill. You feel more like an expert when you use DTI and then suffer less from scammer syndrome.

Entrepreneurs and professionals who need to respond quickly to new markets, develop leadership skills or solve complex problems will find an unprecedented tool in DTI.

Have you reached a plateau in certain skills? Then DTI can provide the breakthrough you need.

Why the skill 'stays'

One of DTI's most unique insights is its claim that once integrated, the skill "stays. Whereas traditional learning often requires continuous maintenance and repetition to keep a skill current, DTI works differently. This is because of the deep unconscious installation that takes place.

When you enter a deep state of hypnosis and perform a Deep Trance Identification, you bypass the critical mind. You work directly with the subconscious mind, where your beliefs, habits, and deepest learning patterns are stored. By directly “downloading” and installing the neurological structures and mental strategies of a master, you create new, efficient neural pathways. This process is similar to how a child unconsciously learns a language or masters complex movement patterns—it becomes part of who you are, not just something you do.

The skill is not taught superficially; it is deeply anchored in your system , keeping the “door” to that skill open. You no longer have to consciously think about every step; it becomes an intuitive, automatic process. This results in lasting and effortless mastery, which sets DTI apart as a truly revolutionary method for accelerated learning.

Combining traditional learning with deep trance identification

The battle between Deep Trance Identification and traditional learning is not a matter of right or wrong, but of efficiency and purpose. Traditional learning provides a valuable, structured foundation, but DTI shines when it comes to learning skills quickly with unprecedented ease and lasting results.

For anyone frustrated by the snail's pace of conventional methods, DTI offers a powerful, modern alternative. It enables you to replicate and integrate mastery at lightning speed, saving you not only time, but also achieving a deeper, more sustainable level of competence. The promise of "lightning-fast" and "easy" learning is no longer an empty slogan; it is a proven reality for those who embrace the power of Deep Trance Identification.

Hypnosis to make everything even better

Hypnosis is playing an increasingly important role in research on behavioral change, therapeutic intervention, and possibly also skill development. Studies show that deep trance states, such as those achieved through hypnosis, are associated with increased imagination and reduced internal dialogue. This makes the brain more receptive to suggestion and new patterns of behavior or thinking[2].

Hypnosis has also been shown to have neurologically measurable effects; people in deep trance exhibit consistent brain activity patterns that can help reinforce new beliefs and routines[3].

While there is still little specific research on hypnosis for "installing" skills such as in DTI, existing research does confirm that hypnosis provides access to the subconscious learning potential, which can be a strong complement to traditional learning methods.
