The World’s Largest Hypnosis Community: Why You, of All People, Can Be Hypnotized
Do you think you can’t be hypnotized? Welcome! I completely understand. I can even tell you exactly why you’re reading this with a skeptical smile.
The fact is, many people are afraid deep down inside. Fear is the main reason why something “supposedly” doesn’t work out. You’re afraid of the unknown. Afraid that during hypnosis you’ll suddenly reveal your deepest secrets, or that you’ll completely lose control.
You’re resistant to hypnosis. So when you read that hypnosis actually works, you immediately think, “Well, go ahead and try it on me—then you’ll see that it doesn’t work.”
Why do people want to prove that? Because deep down, they’re secretly afraid it might actually work. And that fear of losing control is holding you back from your own success.
The great thing is, you don’t have to learn how to go into hypnosis at all. You’re already right in the middle of it.

The world is one big trance
Your problem, challenge, or life is also a kind of hypnosis. The world around you is one big hypnosis. We have the illusion that we see reality as it is, but that’s not actually the case.
We see the world as we are. And who we are—that is our unique hypnosis.
No one on this planet sees reality exactly as you do. Sometimes we think we understand each other because we belong to the same group, but at a fundamental level, everyone is completely on their own in their own experience[1].
That also explains why people so often feel lonely. The feeling that no one really understands you is accurate.
But the best part is: this applies to everyone.
No one fully understands another person. Once you realize this, a weight is lifted off your shoulders. You don’t need to search for how to enter hypnosis. Instead, you may discover that you’re already in it. The trick is to step out of it.
From weight loss to addictions: you’re stuck in a story
Of course, you don’t have to free yourself from the global hypnosis right away, but you can when it comes to your personal obstacles. Imagine you’ve been overweight for a long time and want to lose weight.
First of all, you’re stuck in the belief that you’re overweight—and whether that’s a factual statement or not, what do you think about it yourself?
If it bothers you, that’s when action comes into play.
But why haven’t you been able to lose weight or quit smoking so far? Because there are deep-seated beliefs somewhere. Because you may be unconsciously clinging to emotional trauma or a sense of protection and security.
Whatever the cause, it’s completely surmountable. Anyone can lose weight. Anyone can quit smoking or overcome any addiction and live freely again.
Is that easy? No. Absolutely not.
And whoever ever led you to believe that life would be easy—you should track them down and give them a good smack, because that’s simply not true. Life, by definition, isn’t easy.
But remember this well: diamonds are created exclusively by intense pressure. Without pressure, there is no diamond. And you are that diamond. The more radiant you want to become, the more pressure that sometimes comes with it. Sometimes that pressure begins very early in life, and it may seem as though that’s how you were shaped, but that’s an illusion.
The greatest hypnosis of all: two simple letters
The very, very greatest hypnosis that exists consists of just two letters: I.
The “I”is the ultimate illusion. We believe in that “I” with all our hearts, we defend it tooth and nail, and we do everything we can to preserve it. But in fact, that “I” often makes our lives a lot more complicated than necessary.
There are moments when the “I” is completely absent. For example, when you’re fully absorbed in an action, such as taking a sip of water. At that exact moment, the “I” has disappeared; there is only the action—drinking water.
It’s only afterward that the “I” reemerges and takes credit: “Geez, did you really have to do that right in the middle of a recording?” or “How clever of you to handle it that way.” That’s the “I” claiming ownership of something that just happened completely on its own.
We spend most of the day operating on autopilot, without really having any conscious say in the matter. Life just unfolds. But because we find that hard to accept, we insist, “No way, I’m in control—I set goals and I achieve them!”
Well, if that control really worked that flawlessly, then everyone would achieve all their goals immediately. But that’s not how it works in practice. Life happens to you, no matter what plans you make. True, deep liberation lies in letting go of that “I.” That is the core of non-dual hypnosis.
Hold on tight to let go
If liberation lies in letting go of the ego and breaking through those limiting patterns, how do you actually do that in practice? This is where a beautiful paradox comes into play: you use hypnosis itself as the tool to break free from the “hypnosis” of your problems.
It actually works just like a pen lying on a table. If you want to let go of that pen, you’ll first have to pick it up. If it remains there untouched, you can’t let it go either.
It works the same way with your mental baggage. To get rid of your limiting beliefs, your emotional triggers, or your old traumas, it helps immensely to first step into them for a moment. You consciously grasp that feeling, that belief, or that old pain.
You feel it, you look it straight in the eye… and then: boom, let it go[2]. As quickly as possible.
Because you’re not broken. It’s already okay. In fact, deep down, the problem has long since been solved. It’s just that because you failed to briefly address that specific little part and then consciously let it go, it continued to feel like an insurmountable obstacle. As soon as you give that “I” that’s holding on to it a little help, you realize: “Wait a minute, it was just one little ‘I’ that thought it had a huge problem.”
You are a collection of “little selves”
We are essentially a collection of all kinds of different inner voices and “selves.” One “little self” really wants to lose weight, while another “little self” secretly thinks things are just fine the way they are. But the moment all those “little selves” fade into the background for a moment, you realize that, fundamentally, there isn’t a single problem.
You can see this as a profound realization: at its core, there is no problem. Of course, there is a “self” that does feel it. And that’s exactly where you should go. Address it, feel it through, let it go, and work right through it. Then that so-called problem will disappear, until another little “self” comes along to claim something else.
So, the next time someone says they absolutely cannot be hypnotized, you’ll know better. After all, that’s someone’s ultimate form of hypnosis. And as for me? You can let that go today.
