Seriously: how big is your seriousness?

"Seriousness is the most serious disease on this planet and you have to eradicate it root and branch." This is a quote from a trainer of mine and I have taken it completely to heart. Now that doesn't mean that nothing is serious. When I look around me I do see things less and less serious, now of course there are things happening that are serious and there are things you can talk about seriously.

But most things, maybe more than 95%, you don't have to take that seriously. Now I do see a lot of people taking a lot of things seriously. Now of course that's allowed, but if you look past it and you start getting more and more detached from your own story and your own self, you see more and more the joke.

Because it's a crazy world after all.

Actually, that world has been crazy since I was born in 1975. Ronald Reagan became president of America in 1980. I was watching Back to the Future the other day and then someone said, "So who is president in 1980?" The answer was Ronald Reagan.

"Ronald Reagan, the actor? I don't think so."

Then I shot into the lag. It's a movie, of course, but there's a kernel of truth in it that it's always been made pretty clear to you that the story isn't real. That it's a projection from within yourself. How else can it be so crazy? How else can you know that someone is coming, for example, with manifesting?

How else can you know how things happen? Because it's already happened, it's already the past.

Let me give you a small example. I used to have an Ajax season ticket, of course you wouldn't expect that with my accent 😉. Box 4 27. At one point, according to friends of mine, I was the spiritual leader of Vak 4 27. This was so according to my friends because I always predicted the match and I always got it right.

It was so uncanny that I could tell at the minute when a goal would be scored and who would score it. For example, one time there was an Ajax-Utrecht match and we were down 1-0. I said that before half-time it would be 1-1 in a certain minute, after half-time there would be a substitution and that substitute would score 2-1 in the 63rd minute, then it would be 3-1 in the 86th minute. This was right down to the minute and I just saw this in front of me. At that time, I was in the resources that do cause you to be a little more open, I'll admit it honestly, but still.

Now you might say, "Then should have joined the Lotto." But the funny thing is that I can only do it when the contest is on, I'm in it and I have to wonder: "How much will it actually be?" Now I don't want to know that at all, so I don't ask myself and when I do unconsciously, I get some kind of number through and then I think, "Seriously?" And then I can't enjoy the game anymore.

But how is this possible? Then it must have already happened somewhere, right? That the story is already like this. This may be true with other things too, but things like this are little miracles to me that prove that it is all not real and that it is a projection.

This helps me to not get too serious about it. Meanwhile, this vision also allows me to read newspapers again. I didn't do that for a long time, but now I can read newspapers through a completely different lens than I used to.

I also watch the news through that lens.

In my head, I'm looking for the story or the joke. Then life feels less and less serious. I do understand that if you are listening to this while you are in the middle of a crisis, your partner just left or someone died, then this is not cool. I get that.

Everyone goes through these things, but it helps to look at them differently. This helps you get on top of it faster.

Understanding through deep trance identification

It also helps to realize that your awareness never goes away (at least I think so). Edwin, I, do go away, and Edwin may be creeped out by a story and depressed by a story and crying over a story, but Edwin is part of that story.

But I, my real being, sees it and realizes that it is those very thoughts, ideas, beliefs and convictions that keep you in that cage.

I once did the hypnotic technique the deep trance identification with Jesus, which is a technique where you "go into someone" you choose. I chose Jesus. Suddenly my body was gone and I was only consciousness.

Suddenly I realized how I keep this going. Even with arts and crafts. So every thought I have, even this one, keeps me in the story. This story I would also like to hold on to. Then I came out of that trance and got the weak laugh.

I got such a laugh. I thought if I just stop doing that completely, just do nothing, then nothing will be wrong. But because I start something I have to finish it, that's the idea then. So you keep doing this for life.

While time and space do not exist. It's a concept we came up with. That we come from somewhere and go somewhere. We all hold this convulsively. When you see through that a few times, you see that more and more. You also see more and more the jokes hidden in the world.

Therefore, you can't go back.

You just see it happening.

I'm not otherwise into conspiracies or anything.

If you consider it a bit, we're in a crazy story right now, too. Next year too. We came out of crazy stories. They continue to be crazy stories.

The crazy story of the b.v.

For example, the story that you can start a limited liability company. That b.v. actually exists only on paper. It's not real, but that b.v. can open an account. That's all made up. A piece of paper with a name that I devise can suddenly buy houses and the like. A b.v. is just a legal entity and it has to pay taxes too. It's all crazy.

When you realize that, you can play with it and it becomes a little less serious.

That's why I say, "Being serious about spirituality, don't be."

You can seriously think of this as a story.

I want to invite you, and I also allow you to take a lighter view of it all. That's why I also make videos on Instagram in which I read the newspaper in such a way, even with intense news, that many people like it.

There seems to be a need for that, that they can think, "It's funny that way."

It's not just this bit, but if you can filter it so that it's a kind of play, that can give you peace of mind. That you know it's a kind of illusion.

Time and space does not exist, it is already past.

Otherwise, I could never have an image of knowing what can happen.

Your filter that may or may not make things serious

This at least helps me to be less serious. To see the world as not so serious. Almost like a comedy or cabaret show. That's also my crazy filter.

So stop imagining horrors.

Seriousness has a lot to do with fear and anger. And seeing things more lightly has more to do with lightness for me.

While seriousness for me is more heavy and dark. I choose light and airy.

I hope you got something out of this spiritual brain dump.

I hope that you too can see your world as increasingly light and airy, then more and more miracles will happen. Then you can also have more control in the sense that you can let what happens happen. Or no control, because you realize that everything is already controlled as it should be and what is good for you. Then you can go with the flow of your life.

Of course, terrible things can still happen, but realize at some point it's over.

So seriousness is the most serious disease on this planet, let's eradicate it so that everything will be a little lighter and lighter.
