Love is.... Recognizable when you love yourself
The idea, everything is love. There is only 1 choice and that is love. So there is no choice. You can choose from love or you can choose from fear, but when you choose from fear you also choose love. A choice based on fear is often a choice to protect yourself, and you protect yourself because you love yourself
So what is love and how do you recognize it? Actually, Jesus said it.
I was raised churchgoing. So I was in church every week and was taught the Bible and things like that. It amazed me that the Old and New Testaments were so different.
For summarizing the 10 laws of Moses, Jesus used "There are 2 rules 1 love yourself. Love all sides of yourself including the one side you don't like. If you can do that, love your neighbor as you love yourself."
2 simple rules, but I never got them from church, even though they were in that book.
Now I believe them to the depths of my being.
You are love and light. When you truly live, experience and be this fully, you see it in everyone.
You can only recognize in others what you recognize in yourself.
It helps you focus on what’s important to you—it helps you see the things that matter most.
The church is going so bad and everyone is running away because they preach fear there. Fear is based on a lie and fear is not fun.

Not only Jesus talked about love and that you must first love yourself in order to love another. You hear it more and more often.
In doing so, there are several types of love[1], namely:
- Romantic love (those with a partner)
- Parenting love (that of parents to their children)
- Friendly love (the love you have for your friends and other people with whom you interact on a regular basis)
- Altruistic love (love for your environment, love in general)
In science, they often want to see things with their own eyes to measure it. If love was something you could put under a microscope like DNA to see it they would.
So in the case of love, scientists are looking for indicators by which you can tell if person A loves person B. For example, one term for love is:
"Investing in the other person for the other person's destiny."
So there’s absolutely nothing selfish about it—there’s no “quid pro quo.” You simply do something for someone else to give them a better life, without asking for anything in return.
What often happens with love is that the meaning you ascribe to it is actually the key to having a good relationship.
But you can also have a good relationship with your colleagues, do you love them? Of course I do, because for me everything is love 😉 But of course it is not the same love as in a romantic relationship.
So you can supplement the definition of what love is with "Person A prioritizes the needs and goals of person B even if it does not provide for their own goals or needs."
So the other person does not exist in Person A's life to meet Person A's needs and help Person A achieve goals. Person B is just important as he is.
Love is a motivating emotion
Love is a state in which you are motivated to improve the well-being of the other person. This is something that multiple surveys indicate people agree on from 75% to 84.9% of people who filled out a questionnaire or recognition list. So the vast majority of people agree that love is the motivation to improve life for the one (or several) you love in the case of romantic love.
Dis is also why I can say that everything is love. The institute was founded because I want everyone to be able to feel good, achieve their goals and not be hindered by blocking beliefs.
If that's not love, I don't know what is.
Love is having fun with that person
In the study from which all the above figures were mentioned (and their preliminary research), it was found that people find that "liking that person/ the person is nice" (or enjoyment in English) is also an important factor of love.
Want to hear the best part of the survey? In the end, across all 4 types of loves, the first definition was the one most people felt was the most appropriate[2].
So maybe love is not so divisible into different types of love at all, maybe it is mainly different types of relationships through which other things besides love can become important and which indicate whether it becomes romantic or not.
Hypnosis to better recognize love
Do you often feel like you hate the world and that nobody really loves you? Then there’s a good chance your focus is on seeing hatred and negative things. If you go to your mom’s house for dinner and she makes a comment about your appearance, you might think, “See, it’s never good enough.”
But when you shift your focus to seeing love you think "My mom made me healthy food and wants people to have a good impression of me, only she relates that to her own ideas of a good impression. She clearly has my best interests at heart. That must be love."
Consciously reframing negative thoughts into loving ones can, over time, shift your focus. Just like when you name three things every day that you’re grateful for.
Recognizing and changing the tipping point with hypnosis
If you find it difficult to do so, hypnosis can help you make the switch to love faster. Ultimately, you used to love the people who cared for you, your friends at school and the world in general. Which was too crazy and really something to explore.
At some point there must have been a tipping point that shifted your focus to non-love.
By identifying this turning point—for example, through regression—you can discover why that shift ever occurred. During regression, you can reinterpret that moment. You can add new information to that moment and even completely change the information associated with it, thereby altering your memory and allowing you to quickly reverse the shift so you can see the world as a loving place again—a place you can love, at the very least, with people to whom you can share your light and love.
Regression receives a great deal of attention in the Hypnosis Institute of the Netherlands’ 1.0 training program. There, hypnotists (or future hypnotherapists) learn how to guide people back to this moment after inducing hypnosis and how to help them interpret this moment in a more positive way, thereby shifting their focus from a life lacking in love to a life filled with love.
A life where you can recognize love more easily.
Hypnotic suggestions to recognize love
Hating yourself isn’t helpful, of course, so self-love and self-compassion are useful for shifting your focus toward love in that regard as well. Hypnotic suggestions can help you become more open to love, whether it’s love for yourself or love from others.
Because you’re in a state of hypnosis, you’re more likely to accept suggestions as truth in your subconscious. During an initial consultation—or even a Socratic dialogue while you’re under hypnosis—the hypnotist can identify which beliefs are holding you back and which suggestions might actually help you move forward.
You can repeat these suggestions during the session and after when you do self-hypnosis. This is what the hypnotist can teach you.
These may include suggestions such as:
"I am my own best friend."
"It's good to take good care of myself."
"People help me with my goals."
"People have my best interests at heart."
These are just examples, depending on your problems in daily life with love or beliefs about love, a hypnotherapist may choose to give you other suggestions.
