Knowledge attitude behavior: Use hypnosis

Knowledge attitude behavior is a model in communication to bring projects to fruition, but how do you make sure you can convey the knowledge properly? How do you get the attitude right and influence the behavior of those around you?

You can do this with hypnosis. In fact, hypnosis has a tremendous impact on your attitude and behavior, then transferring knowledge also goes a lot better

To become a hypnotist, you need to complete a hypnotherapy training program. But which type of hypnosis do you want to learn to improve your communication? What exactly is there to learn? The old-style hypnosis, for example, is a forgotten art. Many hypnosis training programs offer a watered-down version of it.

Learn hypnosis with training

When I look at “modern” hypnosis training programs, there’s very little that’s actually modern about them. It’s a very watered-down version of what’s possible. Some courses do embrace it again, such as with rapid inductions, short sessions, and direct communication with the subconscious. But even there, you often see a slightly watered-down version, and the courses are often very short.

When you look at the hypnotists who know all the secrets, their students really spend years maybe 10 to 15 years apprenticing with such a person.

I don't know everything either, so with us you can also take 3 years of training.

It truly is an art. Like old magicians passing on secret techniques to 1 serious student. This is also the case in the world of hypnosis and especially in the ancient hypnosis of mesmerism.

Mesmer was alive and well in the 1800s, hypnotizing or mesmerizing people. Up to 3,000 a day. He did this with suggestions, gauzes (a type of hypnotic cataract) and authority. I also took a course in Mesmerism. That lasted a week, which is of course very short. Then you learn some techniques and exercises. You then have to practice a lot yourself.

We then spent days practicing gazing, staring as it were. At some point something then happens in your system that allows you to gaze much more intensely and get people into a certain state of trance or hypnosis immediately.

Yesterday I was talking to someone and they said "What do you do?"

"I said, I do hypnosis and I turn myself on" and then he was already going into hypnosis. We were just talking and it wasn't even really my intention to put him into hypnosis, but that's one of those secrets.

The secret of how a certain facial expression or how you use your eyes. You can open them very much or close them very much. Those small differences also have an effect.

These are all those secret tricks that very few people know. I only know a few of them too, but when I look at a lot of training courses that don't use them at all.

Then modern hypnotherapy becomes more like a guided meditation. Maybe then someone gets into a receptive state and then you start doing the techniques and hope it works. This also takes way too long when you just want a project to run smoothly.

Whereas if you look at the old hypnotists, they don't hope. Those know it works.

Who have very different intentions and ways of working.

One is not better or worse than the other, but it is different.

Learning hypnosis for everyday life

I think a combination of both is very powerful. If you know how to work with your eyes, posture, and intention, you can put that to good use in your daily life. You can apply it in your communication, at work, and in your relationships. It’s not as if you’re immediately hypnotizing or manipulating people .

By using your energy and state, you can make things go more the way you want them to go and the way they are meant to go when they go.

If it's a win-win-win for many people, why shouldn't it be allowed to happen? Then why shouldn't you be allowed to start it.

Surely then you see many people hesitate, and as a hypnotist you don't. Then you set your intention and energy and you can use that role to achieve your goals.

Hypnosis and personal goals

For example, a personal goal could be that you want to pass a certain test. You can make intention stronger with visualizations, for example. This helps artists get over stage fright, for example[1].

You can use visualization to see yourself as you want to be, giving your subconscious a direction to work toward.

Athletes can also improve their technique with hypnosis[2].

Conversational hypnosis class

As mentioned, I had accidentally hypnotized someone once in a conversation. He was sharp and caught on before I even realized it and asked me what I was doing. This shows that you can be put into hypnosis even in an alert state.

Experts of conversational hypnosis even indicate that hypnosis is part of the evolution of homo sapiens, humanity. They indicate that the freezing response to something fearful is a first step to the hypnotic state. In the example they depict, they talk about primal man's reaction to a lion. He could fight (throw his spear) or flee (run away) or remain calm looking the lion in the eye and walk back to his tribe to explain what happened and then work with a group to address the lion's problem.

That freeze or stay calm response is not as obvious as you might think in the animal world. Freezing allows you to think of an alternative to what your instinct tells you. Hypnosis is actually the ability to let go of your emotional world to think rationally about your problem[3].

In doing so, you can also imagine how that person was received by his tribe. He probably had some kind of energy around him that could clearly communicate that action from the whole group was needed to solve a particular problem. This is what may be going on when people ask you "Is there something?" when you are very busy thinking about how to solve a problem.

So you can also use that energy in other ways with a clear intention. So then you are talking about conversational hypnosis.

In healthcare, conversational hypnosis is used to influence patients[4].

In conversational hypnosis, it’s the suggestions and your own intention—rather than the induction—that matter. What you say evokes thoughts and images in the person you’re talking to, so with a good suggestion, you can direct their focus toward something specific[5]. That’s why it’s important to use primarily positive and clear language, so that people focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want.

This does not mean that people will slavishly do what you want, because you cannot force people, but at least they will think with you more that think against you.

Hypnotherapy to be more persuasive

As a project manager, your communication is incredibly important. You need to convey knowledge to influence people's attitudes and behaviors. So if you find this difficult or find that you are not doing this well, you can use hypnotic techniques to work with intention, but it may still feel separate.

Fortunately, you can also use hypnotherapy to be more persuasive. You can then work with a hypnotherapist to find out why you are not yet persuasive. What is holding you back from using your intention or experimenting with persuasion techniques.

After that therapy, you can also take a course or seminar, for example, with us. To learn the techniques mentioned above so you can apply them to achieve your personal goals and to get people with you when you need help to do so.
