Chakras what are they anyway?
Chakra means as much as wheel of light and are energy centers of the body. Although, most people neither see them nor believe in them. That doesn't mean it's not there either. In fact, you can influence them and there are several ways to do that
Chakra
If there are chakras, how many are there. When you delve into it you will read that there are 7 main chakras that go along the spine like the vertical. On the belly side they sit and also on the back side opposite each other. Now you have many more chakras, especially in your hands and if you give energy like reiki, then you notice that there are chakras there as well.
When you want to work with them, consciously, you can influence them by turning them. You have to imagine these wheels of light turning one way and if they turn the wrong way, then something is going on in that area. Mesmer also had a similar idea with his mesmerism because he said that people consisted of animal magnetism spinning. Maybe he meant the chakras.
What chakras are there
There are 7 distinct chakras that we can also influence well with hypnosis. The first chakra is located at the bottom of the spine and is also called the tailbone chakra. The color associated with it is red and the vibration of red is low. Vibrations with wavelength 630 millimicrons we see as red.
You see, light is an electro-magnetic wave, and you have short waves that vibrate quickly and large waves that vibrate slowly. That makes you perceive different colors. Red, for example, is a large wave motion that vibrates slowly.
The 7 Chakras
Muladhara is the first chakra and is therefore red. Muladhara means as much as "support from the root. When a person is deficient in red it manifests itself in fears, lack of discipline and a feeling of "not being grounded" or "floating.
An excess of red is also possible and manifests itself in materialism and greed. Obesity is also a sign of too much red.
The second chakra is found in the abdomen and lower back and it is called Svadhisthana which means as much as "sweetness. It also stands for your own place and occupying your own space. The color of this chakra is orange.
When someone suffers from impotence, sexual problems, numbing of emotions there is a lack of orange. If someone is very emotional, obsessive or sex addicted then there is an excess of orange present.
At the solar plexus you will find the third chakra whose color is yellow. This chakra is called Manipura which means "sparkling jewel. It is also called the solar plexus.
For example, people who experience a lack of "yellow" experience a lack of self-esteem. With an excess of yellow then you see people can be aggressive or domineering.
The fourth chakra is called Anahata and the color associated with it is green. It is the chakra of the heart. Anahata means letting go and in people with too little green are often shy, bitter or lonely. If they have too much green then you often see those people are jealous, possessive or dependent.
The fifth chakra is located at the throat and is the color blue. You call this chakra Vishuddha, which means "purification. A deficiency of blue is seen in people with speech anxiety and an excess of blue is seen in people who talk too much. Stuttering is also a problem of too much blue.
The chakra we also call the third eye is found just above and between the eyes. You call it Ajna, which means perceiving.
A deficiency of this chakra which is the color indigo (dark blue-purple) manifests itself in depression, bad eyes and in people who place responsibility outside themselves.
Too much of this color can cause headaches, nightmares and delusions.
The last chakra is violet and sits on top of the head. It is also called the crown chakra and you also call it Sahasrara which means thousandfold.
A lack of violet causes learning difficulties, narrow-minded beliefs or spiritual skepticism. Perhaps you are experiencing the same now 😉
One too many, however, causes confusion, spiritual addiction or excessive intellectuality.
Chakra and Hypnosis
When you work with hypnosis, you can use and leverage this knowledge. When someone experiences a problem in their shoulders it is in the area of the 5th chakra and you can work with blue.
This way you can help people with a different approach, too. Personally, I always adapt my therapy to the client. Some people don't believe in chakras and energy at all. If they do then I use it. In the video below I explain what else you can do.
This will allow you to work much more effectively with people and tailor your therapy to each client. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this information and how you’re applying it. Please leave a comment below.
