The other day I spoke at the IMU live event. It was about online marketing so my talk was also about online marketing of course. About hypnotic Webinars, one of which you may have listened to once. Maybe you even decided then: Okay, I'm going to do the track to become a hypnotherapist. Which, of course, is a really cool thing to do.
The reason I do it is because I want everyone in the world to start thinking positively about hypnosis. Of course, that's an extremely big goal, one of those you're never going to reach so that's nice. Then you can keep going all your life.
But also, that I would like people who learn it for themselves, so it stops with them. What do I mean by that, "stops with them? That their trauma stops with them. I think that might be even more important than everyone thinking positively about hypnosis. Anyway, that's where it starts. Because otherwise you're never going to get into that in the first place. You know what the biggest benefit is? That all generational problems - which started with your ancestors - stop with you. So that the rest of your descendants are freer to live the life they want to live, instead of half still living your life. Or half adopting their grandfather's life.
Hypnosis from entrepreneurs
Well, I once decided that somewhere. Yeah, that seems like a good thing to do, too. So I was talking a little bit about that yesterday, but I was also talking about hypnosis. That we're all in hypnosis. Then when you speak to a room of 500 entrepreneurs, they think, 'Hypnosis? I'm not in hypnosis at all. What makes you think that? I just have my eyes open. I'm just sitting in my chair and listening to you. What the hell is this?' But, then when you think about it for a moment, you figure out for yourself, 'Hey, but wait a minute. I am indeed in my own hypnosis'. And that's fine if it works for you.
But for example: one of those hypnosis I mentioned was hourly-bill hypnosis. That you are going to trade in your time for money. That's what most people do. People also don't know other ways to do it differently. You're not taught that in school either. It's actually maybe just the most important subject there is, though. Yes, not necessarily money, but time. That time runs out sometime. That money doesn't. They just keep printing that money, there's plenty of it, everybody in the world could be a multimillionaire. That's how much money there is. There are trillions of trillions of trillions of euros, dollars, yens, gigantic.
But, those are with people who don't trade their time for money. Who don't work with hourly billing. But most do. Who trade their time - which is their most precious asset - for money. Which is also valuable because with it you can buy things, rent and do all kinds of things.
Anyway, it's less valuable than time. When time runs out, there's probably still money left over. But if money runs out and you still have time, you can just add money again. Time you can never earn additional money. Not really. You can argue about that too. But basically anyone can learn to make money.
Time is running out, but money is not
I find that interesting. I asked the room of 500 people, "Who does hourly billing? Quite a few people raised their hands. I think yes: 'You should stop doing that.' Also for you if you're listening to this and you're thinking how then? Make something that can, say, render. What do I mean by that? Imagine you buy a house and you rent the house out. That might be really big, but so to speak. Then you have something that just makes money. Of course, you have to do something for that, you have to work some hours for that to get that money together, to buy that house. Imagine, you spend 3 months on that and then it's done. Then, of course, you also have some, that you might have to keep an eye on those tenants. Or you put somebody there to keep an eye on that for you. You're spending hours on that, but it just brings in something every month. If you compare that to what it makes per hour, it's probably more than what you're doing now.
Imagine you have 3,4,5,6 of those houses. I'm just mentioning, I say houses now but it could be anything. Then you might not spend 6x as long keeping track of that. Maybe only 2 or 3x as long. Because you can make 1 round and you can visit everyone, so to speak. In almost the same time you can visit 6 people. Then that same hourly rate is suddenly times 6. Thinking like that is convenient because again, time is running out. So if you make something that is actually ... yes. Imagine, I put 20 hours into a webinar and that webinar generates x amount of money. Let's say 1,000 euros. I spent 20 hours on that, then that was 50 euros per hour. Well, that's fine. But then I gave that webinar once. The next time I give it, 1 hour of my time, I have 1000 euro again. So I have 21 for 2000 euro. Then suddenly the hourly rate has become almost 100 euro. Give it again, I sell again for 1000 euro. 22 hours for 3000 euros. Well, and so you go on. At some point the hourly rate goes from 50, to 100, to 150 euros. And maybe even if you give it 100 times, you are almost at 1000 euros per hour.
You can also earn something else with your time, such as love
That's what I mean by making your time that way then pay off, in this case, for money. But then of course that applies to other things as well: for love, for your relationship. You can be there but you can also really spend that time to really connect and connect. Which of course over time pays off much more, so to speak.
Because time runs out at some point, which is actually what I was talking about most the other day. What is your time worth to you? Do you still want to spend your time on all kinds of problems? Problems that you could solve. I'm not saying it's easy. For example, would you want to spend your time by trading your time for money all the time? When time runs out, or you are sick, suddenly there is no money all of a sudden. Then you have other problems. Couldn't you do something else? Couldn't you spend certain hours better, so it pays off more? Maybe in your emotional development, in your mental development, your spiritual development, your financial situation, your relational relationship, your physical situation.
You can hang out at the gym for an hour. Pulling weights a little bit, which of course is fine to do, but you can also think, "I'm going to spend that hour really well. I'm not going to work out for an hour but maybe just 45 minutes. Those 45 minutes I make it very intense, and I do a really good 15-minute warm-up. I'm going to train for half an hour, really really really train. In other words: not on my phone, not distracted, very focused and intense training/moving'. That delivers much more, pays off much more - also for your physique - than just hanging out in the gym for an hour. Of course, that's fine too, that's up to you.
But that's good to think about. That's your hypnosis. It's always good to come out of your bubble. That you then think, 'Oh, wait a minute. There's another way. So going somewhere where there are other people - even if it's virtual - just where you hear other things, learn new skills. Then you do come out of your hypnosis again. Then you do get back into another one, but it often works better for you.
Hypnotic webinars
So really look for those kinds of things. Think about how you can make that work better. I call that hypnotic webinars. If you go to hypnosisinstituutnederland.nl/hypnotic-webinars, you come to a page that's not finished yet. So you have to put a lot of effort now, to look that up. Then I'm going to teach you how to do hypnotic marketing: how to get more clients out of limited time. That's also on our website. Anyway: there are opportunities. Whether you're thinking, 'I'm not into marketing at all. I don't want webinars at all'. Fine, fine, but find certain things you want to develop in. Try to do that in the shortest amount of time possible, because that time is suddenly running out. That would be a pity if you did not want to develop that. Why is that a pity? Because you wanted to develop that. That is why it is a pity.
At the end, it basically doesn't matter, then you're dead. But you want it. If you want something, it's helpful to do it in as short/efficient a time as possible, so you get more out of it. That's why we all have trainings and things we do: The seminars are short effective and practical. Because I want to be that too. I also want to attend an event, hear speakers talk that I immediately think, 'Yeah man, I'm getting something out of this. I can do something with this. This is what I'm going to do. Instead of 'It was fun, but what's in it for me?' I regret that and I don't begrudge you that. But that's good searching, I know that too. You can spend time with that sometimes, too. But as Abraham Lincoln used to say, 'If it takes me 8 hours to cut down a tree, I'm going to spend 6 hours of that time making my axe sharp.' So sometimes you also just need time to figure out things that are good for you, so you can use that time more efficiently later.
