Media scares
In the past decade, 491 people have been killed in attacks in Europe. That's almost as many as in 1988. Yes, you read correctly. In 1988 alone, there were 440 deaths in attacks in Europe.
Compared to the 1980s, we are literally doing almost five times better, but we are at least five times more afraid of attacks when that is completely unjustified. There were 2288 victims in the 1980s to 491 in the last decade. Of course 491 too many, but still.
We shouldn't be so afraid, but yes.
How that came about? The media.
We have 24 hours of news and it has to be filled anyway. Not that it is filled with interesting things, like the world's largest pyramid found in Bosnia. No, it gets filled with a mess of shit.
Why. Then you get scared, which of course is good for the third party.
The third party?
Yes, do you know that tactic?
The Divide and Conquer Tactic. This tactic was already used by the Greek Philippes II in 382 B.C. More than 2,300 years ago. Make sure one party gets a little more than the second party and they never become friends. They then start arguing with each other.
The third party will then never attack them and they prevail. Top strategy! Still works great as you can see.
Deliciously pitting people against each other so they leave the third party nice and toasty. Of course, the media is doing a nice job of that.
So what to do? Well there is always one party that rises above that and that is love. That is the only energy that works to rise above everything. And of course it's not a party at all. It's just.
- So as much TV out as possible.
- Keep thinking for yourself.
- Lots of laughs and hugs.
- Bit of fact-checking.
- Loving Yourself.
And if the latter has succeeded?
Love your brothers and sisters as you love yourself.
Simple!
Beautiful Sunday ❤️
