hypnosis fees and psychology fees what are the main differences

Hypnosis and classical psychology are very different. Hypnosis attempts to work with the subconscious mind and thus stimulate change from within a person. Hypnosis does not assume that a person is "sick" when they choose therapy, whereas psychology and psychotherapy often do.

Psychotherapy is different from Hypnotherapy

In psychotherapy, they view the person as a real patient with an illness, a diagnosis and a prescribed therapy to be followed as directed. Hypnosis seeks a more personal response to the problems you are facing. Hypnosis thereby recognizes that each person's brain is different and that a good hypnotherapist looks at each case individually.

What is the difference in cost?
A question that many people ask in this regard is just how much hypnosis costs and how hypnosis costs compare to classical psychology costs. This is a question that is not so easy to answer, as both disciplines have an approach that differs profoundly on the points we have just mentioned.

First, there is a lot of difference between hypnotherapists, both in the length, quality and cost of a session. There will be therapists who offer a session for as little as a small amount, and of course that does not immediately mean that their quality is lower.

The average price of a hypnotherapist is around a hundred euros per session, but if you choose a decent therapist, you will often have results you can work with after just one session. We work with programs where the hypnosis costs are already clear, so there are no surprises if you suddenly need many sessions.

So hypnosis costs vary greatly depending on which therapist you choose, but in many cases it's just worth it.

What are you looking for in a hypnotherapist

For example, many people seek out a hypnotherapist when they want to quit smoking. A few hundred euros for a number of hypnosis sessions quickly pales in comparison to the cost of smoking itself—not to mention the damage to your health.

If after a few sessions you can just leave the cigarettes for what they are, you will save huge amounts of money in the long run. In that case, the cost of hypnosis is well worth it.

On top of that, most hypnotherapists are a lot more efficient than psychologists. Because their approach is so personal, they can get to the heart of the matter and do not have to be constrained by arbitrary rules and regulations. The downside to hypnosis sessions, however, is that they are often not reimbursed by the government.

What is your goal

An important question to ask yourself when considering hypnosis costs is what exactly you want to achieve with the hypnosis sessions. If, as mentioned above, you want to quit smoking, then hypnosis fees will be a good long-term investment anyway.

In general, though, it is fair to say that the cost of a traditional psychologist is higher than that of hypnosis. Indeed, sessions with a psychologist can drag on for a very long time, with no progress in sight.

If you keep going to a psychologist for months or even years for a problem without anything changing, the cost of psychology is obviously not worth their money.
