You Fail By Intention

Power of IntentionHypnosis is very easy. It's not about a complicated language pattern or how you look someone in their eyes. It's much more about how you do it. In fact, hypnosis is an activity you do and not a trick. It can be learned very quickly, but you have to learn it right the first time. In fact, there are two things that are very important...

Hypnosis and Context

There has to be a context to start hypnotizing. If that is not there then you are not going to succeed. You want to create a context in which you can start hypnotizing. If you don't have that, you won't succeed.

You set a context by putting yourself down as a hypnotist. When you tell people that you are a hypnotist you have immediately created the context. That's enough.

You definitely want to create a context. You want it to be a hypnotic event. That way, you make your chances of success a lot greater. You can make that success much greater. How? By creating intention...

Hypnosis is Intention

Everything depends on your intention. When you want to make someone happy and your intention is not there, it becomes very difficult. You probably won't succeed. In fact, there are a number of stages you have to meet for it to work well.

It's the same way with hypnosis. You can go on the most insane course, but if you don't learn how to do hypnosis you will never become the best hypnotist. If you don't want to either, fine of course. However, know that you can get a lot better when you bring your intention to it.

Do you know what stages intention has? In fact, intention goes through a number of stages, and at each stage the chances of success increase. Hypnosis succeeds even if you don't believe it at all. Can you imagine that?

The power of intention is highly underrated and is the most fundamental asset you can have as a hypnotist (read: coach/therapist, etc...).

What stages might you have to start hypnotizing:

  1. Not sure if it works
  2. Hope it works
  3. Believing it works
  4. Be sure it works
  5. Of course it works...What are we going to do when you are in hypnosis....

If you are in the first stage and you don't believe and you are not sure, the chance of failure is very high. About 90-95%!

When you are in the second stage you still have 20% success. You hope it works and your success rate then becomes 20%.

By the third stage, you're already at 50/50. You believe it works and you double your success with hypnosis. The probability of it working has increased a lot and is already 50%

In the third stage, it's 70/30. You are sure it works. Your chance of success is again greatly increased. It's already at about 70%. 7 out of 10 people you get into hypnosis when you're sure it's going to work.

The final stage makes sense to the Master Hypnotist, of course. Of course it works. What do you want to happen when you are in hypnosis..That is the question for the Master Hypnotist.... You then increase your chances between 90 and 95%. Almost everyone goes into hypnosis then.

So you see, Intention=King.

You can train that by doing hypnosis a lot or attend a live training such as the energetic hypnosis training. There you learn to get to the final stage in 5 days. You can also train it already by always imagining yourself doing it easily. This is how you train yourself and your brain to become more successful.

Please do and I'd love to hear what other ideas you have for increasing your intention. Share them below and take a moment to press the buttons to share this article in your network.

That’s right. If you can convince yourself that you can do it—if you really want something—you’ll usually succeed. Compare it to a confident salesperson versus an insecure one, both trying to sell you something. The choice will be an easy one.

It’s interesting to see how the power of intention is similar to how we create. Without conviction, we don’t take the steps necessary to achieve our goal. Even when we’re sometimes just a meter away from our goal, we give up. So it all comes down to our beliefs about our own abilities. Thank you for this article, Edwin!

Anyway, there is always a positive intention behind our creations and beliefs. Therefore, I believe that there must first be a "will" as a basis and from there, one's own intention must be given space to use it in the right way to ensure success.

[...] fine. When I tell my kids, "Don't get on the chair," they don't get on the chair. It is my intention that makes sure that what I [...] really do get to them.
