Working with ideomotor signals 2.0

Last weekend, Bob Burns was in the Netherlands and gave a training at Hypnosis Institute Netherlands. Now I have brought several trainers to the Netherlands but this training was really by far the best I found.

First of all, Bob is a true entertrainer, an amazing illusionist, a top mentalist and an insane hypnotist. That combination is truly awesome to behold. In addition, he is also a very good therapist as we saw during the live demonstrations....

The Swan

He worked with "The Swan" protocol. A way to connect with the subconscious, but it went beyond that it turned out....

I myself always have my doubts about whether it is the unconscious we are talking to. It is, of course, an interesting model, but it remains a model. Obviously a model that works, but nevertheless a constructed model.

That's why I already work a lot with the Inner Healer myself and will do so on October 20 during the world record (which you can still sign up for, of course ;-))

The Swan Session

During a live demonstration of The Swan, Bob also asked the "unconscious," "Are you the unconscious of client?

No

Ok. .. "Are you family?

Yes

Ok... This got separate. It turned out to be the great-grandfather named Joseph. Joseph had accompanied the client since birth we found out. That was quite an unusual thing to experience.

Now you can think a lot about that and attach all kinds of thoughts to it. It could be a part of the client, a fantasy or maybe it's real. When we asked what Bob thought about it, he started talking about William of Ockham.

William of Ockham lived in 1287-1347 and stated that if everything points to it being so, it probably is so. This proposition is known as Ockham's Razor.

Interesting

It was certainly interesting and we got to practice. Bob told more stories about interesting sessions he had experienced. With The Swan he has already helped thousands of clients with all kinds of different problems so stories abound. I am therefore proud that I get to train the Swan from him although I prefer him to do that.

He is so good at it and if you learn it from someone other than Bob it's still a bit of an afterthought and I don't feel like it.

What is even more interesting is that the client checked with her mother and she said that her great-grandfather was indeed named Joseph... Interesting....

What can you do with it

It's almost endless what you can do with it, and sometimes you just can't do anything with it at all. It sounds strange, but not everyone is the same. People just don't fit into a single technique or protocol.

When they do succeed then miraculous things are possible and I would like to show you those on October 20. On October 20 I will give a free evening where you can get rid of your problem. We do this by means of Bob's technique. He himself thought it was a great idea so I am also very happy that he allowed me to spread it in this way.

Take a look at the video

If you notice anything at all from the video below, a tingle, a movement, a feeling, then you are welcome to come to the Zaantheater in Zaandam. Then register below for this historic evening.

Truly bizarre how this worked, but indeed, my arm went up. Not far but it went up. Fun to witness.

Hi, I’m always happy to receive every newsletter I get from you, Edwin. However, about five certified hypnotists have already tried to hypnotize me, but unfortunately, I don’t feel anything from this video either.I’m really curious if that means I first need to learn to stop being such a control freak or go to endless yoga classes to learn how to relax at all. I’m looking forward to learning more about the Swan soon, as you’re describing it in the newsletter!

Unfortunately, nothing happened to my arm, maybe some tingling. What I did see was a big white aura around your head :-)

Haha, I’d seen this video of yours before, and the result is still the same: my arm goes all the way up until it can’t go any further. Luckily, it’s “allowed” to come back down before it starts to feel uncomfortable. This is really amazing!
