Victor Mids and his teleportation experiment during New Year's Eve

Last New Year's Eve, Victor Mids was on television with a show about teleportation. As I thought (could hardly be otherwise), it was about hypnosis. You see, teleporting someone is not (yet) possible, but hypnotizing someone so they believe they have been teleported is

Disappointed

Many viewers were disappointed because they thought he would really do it, but then they surely forgot that Victor Mids is an illusionist who can do some hypnosis. What I find fascinating is that people really believe he could do such a thing when it's impossible until now.

Many people find the same with what I do. You are easily a guru, healer or psychic if you show something someone doesn't understand. If I help someone get rid of an allergy in 10 minutes that must be magic right? Instead of something much more logical....

Because when you first think it can't be done (getting rid of an allergy within 10 minutes) and then it happens anyway, all logic falls away from people. Anyway, about Victor Mids one more time.

Victor Mids during New Year's Eve

If you have watched it you must find it fascinating that a person can stay in hypnosis for so long. The item at the barber and that he hypnotized the person there with language I'm not going to talk about that.

Try it on someone. It won't work unless he has seen Victor beforehand. That makes much more sense namely because why wouldn't he forget that too. You really don't need to be afraid that such a thing can happen at a hairdresser's.

Anyway, the long hypnosis to Paris was really awesome and I want to thank Victor Mids for that. He showed than it can be done to the world. That you can stay so long in hypnosis that you could even have surgery. After all, you don't come out of it for 6 hours.

Surgery and hypnosis?

Most people won't make that link and think all kinds of things, but I think what he has shown is truly groundbreaking. Mainly for the fact that someone can be and stay in hypnosis for so long.

Of course I knew that, but most people have no idea. And certainly not what it could do for the world.

  • After all, what if you could have surgery without or with much less anesthesia?
  • And that you therefore recover much faster and poison your body less?
  • And also get out of the hospital much faster?

If you start thinking about that and hypnosis were to become a permanent fixture in the medical world, you might soon be paying only half of your health care premium now.

A bold statement?

Right, because you will probably indeed pay much less 😉

Haven't seen it? Then check it out below.

I watched it again. A great show featuring a few fun tricks, including some by Copperfield. I have two comments. A) Can someone stay under hypnosis that long? I think so, but B) the reaction the moment Armando “wakes up” is, given the circumstances, surprisingly lukewarm. That guy should be beside himself with amazement, addressing everything and everyone, etc. Still, a big—but clever—fake...!?
