Victim or Causer

Are you a victim or an enablerWhat will become increasingly important in 2012 is how you act. Do you act as a victim or as an enabler. Does it happen to you or do you let it happen. Both sides offer benefits and pitfalls, only one side is going to work in the long run.

Victim or Causer

What exactly is a victim in this context. Of course, I don't mean the people who have been involved in an accident. No, the people who think that everything happens to them. That everything is up to others and they obviously can't do anything about it.

What matters is not whether it is true. What matters is whether it puts you in your power or takes you out of your power. And when you think that everything happens to you, you put yourself in a victim position and you really do yourself wrong. You are taking yourself out of your own power.

Of course, you have all sorts of things to consider. You may lose your job, your partner, your money, your children and maybe everything.... But one thing no one can take away from you is your power to start seeing and experiencing everything differently.

Only you can do that. However, that doesn't work when you dive into the victim role, because then you are out of your power. And maybe you like that too and get pity from people around you. Unfortunately, nothing at all will change your situation.

When you step into the role of the causer, only then are powers released that can truly help you. Compassion and comfort may be delicious, but in the words of Osho, "comfort is poison. It often just makes you keep confirming all those problems.

Some people believe that the truth is hard. Lies are much harder and certainly much more damaging in the long run. The truth is liberating. Look at yourself and ask yourself, "What is my part?" and you will get a lot further than if you start waiting for someone else.

Enterprise

When you start doing business you automatically step into the role of the enabler. You are undertaking something. This role is becoming increasingly important. People who are in the role of the victim are getting harder and harder. The causers are going to get the better jobs, take the lead while the victims sit on the sidelines watching and complaining.

Whatever you do and whichever side you choose, you are always right. It can all be understood, only with understanding alone you are not going to make it. You have to start doing something.

What is good to do are to always have a few questions for yourself. These questions are:

  • What does this get me...
  • What is my part in this...
  • What is so important about me responding this way ... and what is so important about that ... and what is so important about that....

You are always doing something to fulfill a value in your life. You often just don't know what value that is. When you do know that then you can also take steps to adopt different behaviors from that value.

Imagine doing all those things because you want security. For example, that's what "complaining" provides. When you know that you complain because it fulfills the value of certainty, you can also ask yourself "what other behavior also gives me certainty and puts me in the role of causing it.

Questions are like laser beams. They bring focus. Unfortunately, many people ask the wrong questions which means they get the wrong answers. In fact, you will always get an answer whether you like it or not.

When you ask a question with value in mind, you get a much more constructive answer. All answers already lie within yourself, only you have to (want to) ask the right questions ... otherwise you won't get there ...

Become an entrepreneur, become an enabler and start creating your own life more and more. It is becoming more and more important! A really good article—it gives you something to think about. It’s so easy to fall into a role (victim or perpetrator) and always blame “something,” when things could be so different.

I am both a cause and a victim; I am the victim of all the circumstances around me, but also the cause of them. I move in spirals and am beginning to discover the unity in everything. I could complain and blame other agents for certain things I don’t like. Instead, I’d like to thank them here; I’m very happy with the entrepreneurial spirit that has emerged within me and will therefore continue, motivated, to plant seeds in my books and here on the internet. I believe that nothing happens by chance, so I’m including a link to a very interesting website. I’ve posted a short text there about myself and what I’m working on, in the hope of winning a prize that could help me pursue a practical career so that I no longer have to be a victim of certain institutions in this society. Any help is welcome, so please click “Like” under the text I’ve written on this site if you think I deserve the prize. Best regards, FengoPittoorshttp://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Ftieds.nl%2Ffacebook-contest%2F%3Ffb_comment_id%3Dfbc_10151246202750455_30748375_10151270741290455%23f36b439d9e86fee&h=3AQHtgkuc What a coincidence, that “Fee&h” in the URL! Now I’m going to keep planting letters in my books lol
