Think big, you think anyway

'If you do think, think big,' Trump said. One of the president's better statements. With this one, I agree.

Indeed, why not think big?

In fact, it can be done in many contexts and not just financially or in being successful or anything like that. You can also think big as a father, as a partner, as a lover, as an employee or as a son or daughter.

What would it be like to be the best father in the world? What would it be like if you were the best daughter in the world?

Thinking big is magic.

In fact, you will get very different ideas.

For example, my son wants to supply the whole world with clean energy. To do that, he needs 30 billion he told me.

'I just need to take care of that...'

Prima.

Elon Musk also used to have a dream like this as an eight-year-old boy. He wanted to go to Mars.

Childhood dreams, of course. Who didn't want to be an astronaut or travel in space. Many little boys had that dream and now work in a factory or office. Also fine.

Musk, however, founded and sold an online gold directory. Invested that money into a payment system which is now Paypal and sold that as well. Made a billion with that.

Can you quit your job nicely you would think.

Well ... He wants a rocket and wants to go to Mars. So that's what he's going to do. Whether he'll make it? I think so, but that's not even really the point.

For him of course don't get me wrong, but because he thought big (and for most people thought knee-jerk) he has now achieved and experienced things he would never experience otherwise.

That's what it's all about.

Now you may not need to become a billion or million or to Mars or famous at all. Fine.

But what do you want? And if that could be times a thousand or times a million, wouldn't that be too crazy? Maybe not, but there is a difference between being a good father or being the best father in the world. If you don't achieve the first one, then you are not a good father. If you don't reach the second then at least you are a good father.

Think big, you think anyway.

What do you think? I'm curious.
