Stress caused by co-worker: Hypnosis helps
Your job, it's incredibly fun, but some colleagues ... you'd prefer to strangle them. Unfortunately, that's totally not legal, so you have to deal with coworker stress in a different way. Fortunately, there are ways to use hypnosis and powerful hypnotic words to increase collegiality at work so that you feel more like a team and that everyone is there to help each other.
Helping people is something that makes you happy, but how do you do this in a subtle way when coworkers are causing you stress and you just want them to do a little more for you?
Hypnotic words for cooperation
In that case, you can use conversational hypnosis. In conversations, you can then drop certain words that make something clear to your colleagues that is important for cooperation with your plans.
Now
The word Now is a very powerful and clear word. It is immediately clear when you need something from your colleague, namely immediately.
There is also no room for discussion. Now is now and not tomorrow, or soon, or soon, or next week.
Word gets your colleague's focus directly to your request. The focus of what he/she is currently working on is shifted to the task you need from him directly. There may still be some strugglings because he/she thinks his/her work is important too, but at least it is clear that they cannot beat around the bush.
In the process, you can also make a pledge to give something back to your colleague within a certain amount of time.
For example:
"Hey Pete, I need copies for the meeting right now. Can you do this for me now? I promise to pay you back before I go on my May vacation."
This is an ideal situation if you indeed want to get all kinds of work done before your vacation and need a little favor from your colleague.
To make sure your colleague is inclined to help you, you can start the day by offering coffee or tea, depending on your colleague's preference.
Help (me)
Flattery and brown-nosing. Many people feel this shouldn’t be necessary and cringe with vicarious embarrassment when they see a coworker doing this to the manager.
Still, flattery helps very well, and if you do it subtly, you don't even notice it. If you want to be totally slick to get cooperation and flattery at the same time you ask your colleague for help. Yes, you are going to say that your colleague can do something better than you and you need his/her help to do that.
For example:
"Hey X, I need your help designing the event invitation. You're much better at that, can you help me?"
This question makes X feel that he/she is good at design, has mastered the design program and is visually strong.
In the process, X gets the feeling that you value him/her and rate their qualities highly. Of course, this needs to be confirmed and therefore X is more likely to actually help you.
A total win-win.
Secret
Secrets are fun, exciting, and exclusive. If you know a secret, you’re part of an exclusive group of people who are in on something that no one else knows.
So if you have a useful secret to share, take advantage of this. Do you happen to have HR knowledge about future promotions, pay raises or fun company outings or perks for people who try extra hard?
Share this secret with the people you need something from.
By sharing the secret with the statement that it really must remain a secret you ensure that you become a team of sorts. You then start to have a common goal, such as for that better room during the staff outing.
You
So not you, but you. The words you and you are used a lot in advertising copy and that is because it is a very powerful word.
In fact, the word you is a substitute for someone's name. The word you suddenly makes you the center of attention.
Suddenly, the message is all about you.
When you shout "Hey you!" several people turn around, because who knows it's about them. The word you makes the recipient of the word important and everyone needs to be considered important whether you are an introvert or extrovert.
If you need someone to do a small task you can say, for example:
"Hey I need you to take over something from me for once. Can you start first thing tomorrow with ... (small task)."
Of course, this doesn't guarantee that the work will be done for you. But it does make your colleague feel super important. Which can be just the trigger to get the job done better and to cooperate more.
Because
To get people to do something, it is important to give the reason. Why does someone need to do something for you? Because you have other more important things to do (or because see the ways above).
The reason why doesn't even have to be directly related to the task at hand. You can simply indicate that you need or want to do something different.
"Can you just check today's emails, because I have to leave in a minute."
Because with that is the answer to why should I.
Especially if this colleague is on good terms with you, chances are he/she is amenable to this. So this word may not work directly on that colleague you're stressing about. But if you have used all the other hypnotic words and so over time you do get a good relationship, this is one you can add to your repertoire.
Changing beliefs to care less about them
If you read these hypnotic words and immediately get the idea that you can forget about getting any kind of cooperation at work despite their effect, then it is also important to look at how you think about work and how you function there.
Why are you afraid to use the hypnotic words?
In that case, your beliefs can be explored, for example, through regression. With regression, you go back to the moment when your subconscious decided that you simply have to accept certain behaviors from coworkers, even though they cause you extreme stress.
Many beliefs originate in childhood, and since this is about peer stress, chances are you acquired the belief through an event at school where your classmates were your peers.
There may have been a pattern created by that event where you continue to accept stress from your classmates and later by your peers.
But how logical is that?
In school you had to be because of your parents and compulsory education, but for work you should be able to find another solution. You can look for other work, you can say more back to your colleagues and working from home is also encouraged (very useful if you work a lot at a computer).
By going back to that moment with your adult knowledge, you can revisit whether or not it would be better to let that belief go.
New beliefs against peer stress
In addition to using hypnotic words yourself, hypnosis can also help you adopt new, healthy beliefs that will help you avoid feeling stressed by coworkers.
This can include repeating hypnotic suggestions during self-hypnosis or listening to hypnotic suggestions, such as:
"Don't take your peers too seriously."
"Your own life takes precedence over the lives of your peers."
"Think of your work as a game that can be played," says Dr. K. K., who is the director of the company.
"You may distance yourself from your peers."
These are just examples of hypnotic suggestions. Depending on your stress triggers at work and beliefs, you may receive other suggestions from a hypnosis expert.
Practice using hypnotic words
Sometimes you also just can't quite imagine using hypnotic words at work or standing up for yourself.
In that case, hypnosis can also help through a guided visualization in which your imagination is stimulated about how to handle it and how to do it with a happy ending. Through the guidance of the hypnosis expert, you also feel tensions that you may feel and learn how to deal with them immediately.
This increases your chances of applying the hypnotic words and standing up for yourself in real life.
