New Way of Self-Hypnosis is Self-Hypnosis 2.0

Self-hypnosisSelf-hypnosis is one of the most beautiful ways to change yourself. At least, to be more of who you really want to be or are. That's what it's all about, too, of course. You can use the state of hypnosis very nicely for that and in this article I explain some ways to hypnotize yourself

Self-hypnosis

If you look at the ways of self-hypnosis, there are quite a few ways. I will discuss some of them and then lastly my favorite ;-)

Visualization

One of the most common ways of self-hypnosis is to use visualizations or imagination. If you were to purchase a booklet on self-hypnosis (or perhaps you already have one), there is bound to be a way in it that guides you toward the state of hypnosis through imagination. You might think of walking through a garden, or down a flight of stairs.

When you are then in that wonderful relaxed state of hypnosis, for example, you can see yourself doing all those things you would like to do. You then imagine that you are already doing that behavior and you also feel it. You also believe that it can be done and that it will succeed because you see it. You create a new self-image, so to speak, with self-hypnosis.

NLP

Perhaps a little strange for some people to mention this method here, but one of the most effective ways for self-hypnosis is really NLP. Through the amazing techniques from NLP, you can change behavior very quickly and thus generate results very quickly that would otherwise take a little longer.

When you perform these techniques in a relaxed state of being and really focus on the techniques and the outcome, it works super. NLP is therefore a super way to practice self-hypnosis.

Self-hypnosis speaking

Another great method for self-hypnosis is to record your own hypnosis. This is already possible on most phones these days, for example. You speak your hypnosis with all the good suggestions and you're done. I did this many times and it felt really good. It was my favorite way of self-hypnosis because I didn't have to think much more and could let go of everything.

It is important not to think too much during self-hypnosis, otherwise you will bring yourself out of self-hypnosis again. Then the effect is immediately a lot less. With speaking you don't have this problem and I recommend it, but I think the best method is...

Self-Hypnosis 2.0

I find the self-hypnosis 2.0 method super effective. It works with a quick induction that you do to yourself. Then when you let yourself sink into a deep state of hypnosis, from then on you start giving yourself suggestions that you would like to have, such as "I have more self-confidence. Very direct suggestions.

When you're ready, count yourself up by 1,2,3,4,5 and say "confidence," for example, and you open your eyes and you're back at it.

As you can imagine, this method is not immediately learned, and you also need to know how to get yourself into deep hypnosis quickly. It is something I teach my clients after a session when they have experienced the deep hypnosis, and it is a method you can discover as a therapist in the hypnotherapy practitioner.

If you already have some experience with hypnosis, I highly recommend doing the self-hypnosis 2.0. Below is a video I recorded for you demonstrating the method to you.

Wow! This gives me a bit of a “Big Brother” vibe, and I think it’s amazing that you can do this on your own. But is it okay to try this if you don’t know anything about it yet? And if you have no experience with this, isn’t there a chance you’ll get stuck in hypnosis and not be able to snap out of it? Best, Els

That’s a fun (and quick) way—I’ve been looking for a different way to hypnotize myself for a while now. I already do it by recording my own voice, but I’m definitely going to try this one. Thanks for showing me another way. Best regards, Sten

Manman, Edwin, it all always seems so simple with you! ;-) I would love to find the magic key, but maybe not every particle of my "being" and courage is ready yet.... ;-)

Did this exercise yesterday. It was amazing how quickly I brought myself under hypnosis. It works well for me, at least.

Usually I hook off when I see someone "sleeping" in a chair. But I sat through this video anyway. :)

I have no experience with hypnosis, do you actually get yourself out of hypnosis? I would like to try it, but this is really holding me back.

@ Carla, speaking from my own experience now. But you can always get yourself out of hypnosis. If you want to get out, you can.

You can never get stuck in hypnosis. Also, people believe a lot of other things about hypnosis that are not true. You can read that https://worldhypnosisinstitute.com/de-mythe-over-hypnose/" rel="nofollow">here Hypnosis is a super beautiful state that can bring you many wonderful things in your life

Hi Edwin, We are now a few weeks on from the self-hypnosis course...have you had any response back regarding the 'Migraine' session? Has the person in question indeed suffered less or maybe it is gone completely? Am curious actually....
