Netherlands Denmark lost and it shouldn't have

Netherlands DenmarkThe Netherlands lost against Denmark and what was it due to? It can have many causes but what is often important in top sport are the details. Those details make the difference

Netherlands Denmark lost

The Netherlands had good chances, only if you saw what happened at one point, that it was mentally off and the focus was not there. Especially after the 0-1 you saw an immediate difference.

What is important, of course, is that you stay mentally strong and as the game progresses, hold on to it. You regularly see that this is especially lacking in the soccer industry because players often have poor mental coaching.

You can also see that the focus wasn't there, and that's exactly what you can do a lot about with hypnosis. Hypnosis could be used perfectly to train that focus at important moments like these matches like the Netherlands Denmark.

Hypnosis in soccer

Hypnosis could play an important role in soccer. It allows you to get into a flow faster and easier and to hold onto it more easily.

You can also train mental resilience by installing motivation and focus as an unconscious pattern. Unfortunately, hypnosis still has a bit of a foreign ring to it and, as a result, it is not yet used well, if at all.

Clubs would do well to have players undergo a hypnosis session from time to time to give just that few extra percent. How would it be if you could be 'in shape' much more often in important matches. With hypnosis, this is certainly possible.

How you could do that already is as follows:

  1. Think of the last time you were totally in "the flow
  2. See the picture before you
  3. Step into the picture and see what you saw there and associate completely with that feeling there
  4. Feel the sensation spreading through your body
  5. Ball your fists and notice the feeling amplified

Do this exercise very often and you will find that at some point just by balling your fists you will get into the flow. A case of classical conditioning. It can make just the difference in a match like Netherlands Denmark and is actually quite simple. Take advantage of it!

Let go of the thought that it is something crazy and use the power you have within you as an athlete. Of course, training with your body is essential, but never underestimate the psychology and mental part. Body and mind are separated only in language.
