National Compliment Day

National Compliment DayIt's National Compliments Day. That means you get to give a little more compliments today. Now I personally think you can always do that more, but it's good to think about it. When I do hypnosis, I also find it a prerequisite that you give people who go into hypnosis a lot of compliments.

Hypnosis and Compliments

Because of all the misinformation about hypnosis, people are often afraid of doing things they don't want to do. You have to deal with that fear as a hypnotist or hypnotherapist. Therefore, an important part in hypnosis is giving compliments.

I always impart to my trainees that in hypnosis, give the client very good feelings. That is one of the most important things I insist on. Everyone could use more self-esteem and self-confidence in my opinion. There is a chronic lack of this in many people.

In fact, perhaps that chronic lack of self-esteem is what causes all sorts of things like depression, anxiety and maybe even physical illness. Now, there is no scientific evidence of this, of course, but it can't hurt to blitz someone' s self-esteem. It makes a person feel better. ;-)

The Hypnotic Blitz

A blitz is a way to give someone very good feelings quickly. It involves repeating some moods (such as self-esteem and self-confidence) over and over again. Sort of like affirmation. The difference, however, is that you do it when someone is in a trance state.

When you are in hypnosis, your critical thinking is more in the background. So you don't have the same effect that you often do with affirmation. When affirming, you often don't believe a jot of what you are saying to yourself. That's because your critical thinking is still very active. Affirmation works fine, only you have to do it like a hypnotic blitz.

What you then do is repeat each mood about 21 times. The "Black Jack Rule. If you do this when someone is in a natural trance and you are also in a mood that can be called hypnotic, it has a very strong effect.

First, of course, you have to be in the mood yourself. You must first go into a trance. Intention on, thinking off. Then you step into someone's personal space which already induces a natural trance in someone. Then you blitz someone all those moods today into it.

This is how you make National Compliments Day an insanely great day, and the more often we all do it, the more beautiful the world is going to become. And you know:

You are a person of value; when you look in the mirror, you see a person of value. You are a valuable person. Allow yourself to think: “I am a person of value; I am a valuable person. I am a person full of self-confidence…” :-)

Good luck today and please share this article if you find it valuable to your network and want to inspire them to compliment people more.
