Migraines can be the result of Obesity

Migraine is an (extreme) form of headache that comes in episodes of a few weeks or months and then goes away. People who have migraines describe it as terrible. It feels like you're dying. The slightest sound is already more than most can bear. A tremendous pressure on and in the head. Now it has been linked to obesity.

Migraine and Obesity

Research by the John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore among some 3,800 people shows that those who are severely overweight and obese experience more migraines than those of normal/healthy weight. This does not mean that obesity causes migraines, but it does mean that obese people are at increased risk.

You may ask why is it that obese people are at increased risk of getting or developing a migraine? Before explaining it consider what it could be all about losing weight. Obesity has nothing but disadvantages. Some have given up because they think nothing works to start losing weight.

Quitting Obesity, is it possible?

Most who are overweight or obese have already tried all sorts of things. Dieting, which most do not maintain. Working out, which most don't maintain and more. So what will work? What you mainly want to go for is the core, the reason you've gained weight and thus investigate the obesity. Once you figure that out you can start losing weight in a variety of ways.

Once again, there are only disadvantages to being overweight or obese. Previous research involving MRI scans of migraineurs showed that the hypothalamus is activated. This part of brain also controls the need for nutrition. Another possible explanation is that migraine is associated with behaviors that lead to weight gain, such as low exercise.

Fortunately, you can fix it just fine by losing weight. By transforming the core and learning new, better and healthier eating and exercise patterns, you can prevent many things and also feel more delicious, vital and energetic. Some people also try more rigorous measures such as surgery. A gastric band or even a stomach reduction.

Obesity and the gastric band

Of course, gastric banding is not without its drawbacks. Many complications can arise from such an operation. That is why we work with the hypnotic gastric band for people who are obese and with success. Then you only have the advantages of such an operation and not the disadvantages. Probably this is the future for many patients because it gives the result but not the complication.

Of course, if you want, you can make an appointment with us. What's good to do now is to already start imagining for yourself what it would be like if you were slim and at your ideal weight. This is important. That way you can train your unconscious to live a slimmer and healthier life.
