Lovers are Winners

Lovers are WinnersAre you still ever really in love? Are you still ever truly passionate about something or someone? I hope so. And I don't mean that you just love the people around you. That's pretty logical (I hope...;-). No, what I wonder if you are a good lover.

Are You A Lover?

Do you still love what you do? I hope so. In fact, it is very important that you do. When you no longer love someone the relationship bleeds to death. Everyone knows that. The relationship then falls apart.

The same goes for the work you do. Are you killing your creative ideas at work? Are you someone who occasionally suffocates at work? Probably not, otherwise you obviously don't do that work anymore. However, there are plenty of people who have. Do you get that?

Maybe you are one of those lucky people who goes to work wonderfully, but are you a lover? Do you love your work so much that you abandon your food? That you suddenly have to go to work in the middle of the night? That like a true lover, full of an untameable passion, you can't wait to go back to work?

Well?

If it is a yes then you are a winner, if it is a no then you will never become successful with what you do....

It sounds harsh, but it's the truth. Only lovers are winners.

How to become a lover.

You become a lover by pursuing all your passions. Not only work should be one of those passions. You should also be able to pursue other passions, such as dancing, singing, golfing, shuffleboard or whatever.... You may not even know what those passions are....

When you feel you need to find a better balance in things ask yourself this question:

'What would I be doing that I'm not doing now?'

Perhaps something that is a neglected passion of yours is surfacing right now. It is important for you to start giving it a place. You will then create more balance in your life. By living each passion to the fullest, you create more balance and that creates success!

Lovers are passionate. You can be too by living out your passions. Want to dance? Get started. Do you really want to learn another language? Do it. Make time for it. No one has time, but everyone can make time!

It's important for you to start figuring out what your passions are and I hope for your sake that your work is one of them. If not then you cannot be successful in your work. However, you can make it one of your passions by living your other passions more. If you still can't make work your passion. Stop it!

You live once and it's a sin to waste it. I hope you feel the same way.

So do you want more success? Do you want a life that is truly for you a life you dream about? Quite simply...Become a Lover!

Yes, that’s right, Edwin, you’ve hit the nail on the head! I’m thinking, what’s with all this “lover” business? But I am, in fact, a workaholic who you can wake up in the middle of the night to run a delivery as a courier. While other people do react with surprise, saying, “Driving from A to B—what’s the big deal about that?”
