You've probably heard it before, on TV or the radio. Maybe on the Internet all kinds of advertisements and sayings claiming to be "the panacea" for people who want to lose weight. From pills to shakes, to sherry cures, to liposuction and you name it. The problem with all these "miracle drugs" is that they may work, but only very briefly. It may be that you will lose weight for sure, however, you only address the symptoms there
Losing weight and miracle drugs
What is true is that with all those tips you read and hear that it can definitely help the process in combination with other things to start losing weight. In addition, there are good ways to break the old patterns and have new patterns put in their place.
With those weight-loss pills you do the following: the first thing that goes is fluid and muscle mass to lose weight, which is not a healthy way to lose weight. With liposuction you can have the fat sucked out, but you have a lot of skin from your skin that sticks. Also something people suffer from and don't want. The same goes for stomach surgery as well.
You have people who start eating when they are emotional. Something intense happens, or so they experience it, and they immediately reach for ice cream, chips, chocolate or something else like sausage and cheese. Now there is certainly no harm in letting yourself go once in a while. But every time or at least several times a week certainly doesn't help you lose weight.
Also, most people are very strict with themselves at the time they decide to lose weight. For example, you may eat almost nothing by yourself and do extremely healthy. Or extremely exercise while that is also not very good to start that way. So with everything, building up is important. Gradually learning new ways of eating and moving is much healthier and easier to maintain than changing everything at once.
Lose weight slowly and that's a good thing
Some people do benefit and can make the "change" at once, but these are exceptions and it is also and gamble. Usually it' s better to check with yourself what suits you and make a schedule in your head or on paper if that helps you. What is important is that you take your time.
And that don't let yourself get frustrated if you don't get results right away. Instead, enjoy and celebrate the (small) successes. Also, don't weigh yourself every day but enjoy noticing that your clothes, pants and sweaters are getting less tight and every time you look in the mirror that you are a little slimmer and have lost weight.
Research has shown that when people have a picture of themselves how they want to look in the future that it definitely helps the process. Often addressing the unconsciously automatic program that causes you to stay at your weight is a prerequisite to successfully losing weight. With the free tips you can make a start.
