You have to respect everyone's own way right

Why respect everyone's way? It sounds lovey-dovey and Buddha-like, but those same people don't respect the person who shoots three people in a streetcar.

Each his own way right? He chooses the path of violence and you have to respect that.

Or when your four-year-old child turns onto the main road on his tricycle as a car approaches. Each his own way right? Let it go.

Not so.

You then disrespect that little one's way. Shame on you!

No, good right. When you see that road leading to misery, you have to deal with it. Of course, anyone who takes that path can decide for themselves what to do with it.

Do you know what respect means? Respect means "torespect, to spare, to leave untouched.

And that's exactly what often goes wrong. We just respect everything, which means we leave it that way. But we should instead be helping people, not respecting them.

• Helping people who hypnotize themselves half to death
• Helping people who are polluting themselves
• Helping people who through misinformation believe all kinds of things about themselves that are not true (such as that they have something, while doing something...)

You shouldn't discount those people, you shouldn't stick your head in the sand for them. So for all those spiri-wiri people who just respect everything? The world changes because you do something, through action, through compassion and caring. Not by respecting.

Of course, everyone must decide for themselves what they do. You can rape women, shoot people, commit genocide. But are you seriously going to respect that? Because yes, each his own way?

Doesn't seem to me. The question is always "What would love do? And if you ask yourself that question, then you can never say that you are going to spare (respect) everything and everyone . That is not love, that is sticking your head in the sand out of fear. What I don't see doesn't exist.

People who have acted from love are now heroes, but have often been killed. Why? Because they did not just respect everything and everyone.

And rightly so! Be a hero at times. You really do the world a favor by doing that.
