Irritable bowel syndrome is best solved with hypnosis

irritable bowelIrritable bowel or chronic abdominal pain is common. It occurs in 100,000 children, and now they are often given medications that don't work. That's because they haven't yet discovered a good form of therapy. Or have they?

Irritable bowel syndrome

With irritable bowel syndrome (PDS), a person has regular abdominal discomfort and problems with bowel movements, often with pain in varying areas of the abdomen. It is very annoying and medications often don't work.

Other symptoms that may be included are: Fatigue, nausea, flatulence or a tense feeling in the abdomen. Symptoms may worsen or lessen after eating or defecating. Some people with PDS have an unpleasant feeling or pain in the stomach and/or esophagus, pain or an unpleasant feeling when urinating, difficulty urinating, back pain or muscle and joint discomfort.

How it is created.

How symptoms of irritable bowel develop is not clear. It seems that with PDS, the brain is extra alert to what is happening in the intestines. Stimuli in the intestines are immediately noticed by your brain. In some people , the intestines seem to react strongly to stimuli such as fussiness or tension. When PDS symptoms worsen, it may indicate that a certain situation is stressful.

Irritable bowel and hypnotherapy

Hypnosis may be more successful than medication in children with unexplained chronic abdominal pain. Recent research shows that the positive effect of treatment by the hypnotherapist persists four years later, according to AMC magazine.

That's very interesting, of course. What they have done is with an open mind now look at what the results were with hypnotherapy and with visits to the pediatrician. One group of children went for 6 sessions with a hypnotherapist and the other group went for 6 consultations with the pediatrician.

Among the group who went to the pediatrician, 25% had good results. In the group that went to the hypnotherapist , even 85% had a good result. This result was a reduction of pain by at least 80%!

Even after 4 years, there was still a lasting effect of hypnotherapy. There was still a score of 68% (hypnotherapy) against a score of 20% who had been to the pediatrician. Even a CD had this effect. The cost savings would be over 60 million!!!

There are still people who think hypnosis is woolly and not a good alternative to medical treatment. Even doctors are often laymen in this field and consider hypnotherapy nonsense. Fortunately, there are plenty of doctors who do go and research and stumble upon these kinds of amazing results that really benefit 100,000 children.

That, of course, is what it's all about. Let's start seeing hypnosis as a full-fledged tool for therapy. It is not quackery and not an occult activity. It is a great tool to quickly resolve anxiety, pain and also irritable bowel syndrome. That has long since been proven. Now to convince all doctors of its power and possibilities. Maybe hypnotize them?

Dear Edwin, It would be wonderful if hypnosis were used more often in places like hospitals, doctors’ offices, and dentists’ offices. I hope, then, that doctors and dentists will take your course :)

I have walked many paths to get rid of my irritable bowel syndrome, but am still trying to find the right one. Is hypnosis possibly reimbursed by my health insurance company?

You could certainly do that and otherwise make an appointment with one of the therapists at our site?
