I hypnotize. Are you doing what you love?

Mick Jagger was hospitalized. 75 is the old Rock and Roller and for many people, especially of that age, an open heart surgery where a heart valve needs to be replaced would be a reason to get scared or go easy.

'I hope to perform 17 concerts again in two months...,' said Jagger

And then jump, dance and run ten kilometers across a stage. Because that's what Mick does on the side

Fascinating don't you think?

75 years old and rocking like a young dog. Why? He can't do anything else. He doesn't want anything else. This is who he is. This is his zone of genius. This is where he is Mick and then why stop.

There are people who spend 20 years complaining about their jobs and then run around whining about retirement. That they are entitled to it and want to stop working. Then that has to be paid for.

Ok, so you don't want to work there and then if you stop working then we have to start paying you....

Interesting system. If you were doing what you love you wouldn't even want to stop working. Look, I also understand that some jobs just can't be sustained for years. Paving is hard to keep up for forty years. Something has to be arranged for that.

But also for those people who do want to continue. The seventy-year-old GP who can do fine consultations. Keep on keeping on. As long as he doesn't do anything crazy it's fine right?

Anyway, what about you? Are you doing what you love or are you doing it for the money, security or mortgage? You have one life so maybe it would be helpful to do something you enjoy?

Personally, I've never done anything I didn't like for more than a week. What about you? Are you doing what you enjoy now?
