Hypnotherapy experiences

Hypnotherapy experiences are very diverse often. Some find it the greatest thing that has happened to them and others found it just floaty and didn't have much use for it. So what makes the difference

Hypnotherapy experiences

The biggest difference in a hypnotherapy experience is the hypnotherapist and the form of hypnotherapy being worked with. That makes the experience a great experience or not at all.

The hypnotherapist has a big part in this. This seems very logical but is even essential. Even the people who are very good hypnotizers may have difficulty getting into hypnosis with a poor hypnotherapist.

Trust is very important. For example, if someone stinks, looks strange or has some other trait you can't stand, you won't be likely to go into hypnosis either.

In addition, the report aspect is very important. The contact or connection you have with the hypnotherapist. If that is not there, you can go into hypnosis as well as you can, it will not work. This is fairly underestimated.

I can get people into deep hypnosis that others don't go that deep at all. All the while showing all the symptoms of a somnambulist. Rapport is then often what is missing.

Trust and Safety

When you instill confidence and safety as a hypnotherapist and people feel that, hypnotherapy experiences will be very good. If something is missing or people are afraid, it's not going to work.

That can be the difference between a mediocre experience or just a super hypnotherapy experience. It has to do with:

  • Knowledge and skills of the hypnotherapist
  • Trust and safety
  • Report

When those things are present in a session then results are achieved within an hour. If one of these things is missing then the result may be disappointing or take much longer.

Working on all these aspects you will find in a good hypnotherapy training course, of course, as in the hypnotherapy practitioner.

Sometimes it is simply better to spend a session on confidence, safety and report than to do hypnosis. The beauty then is that in the second session you get the result you both want.

Hello everyone, We have to write a paper for school on hypnotherapy, and we’d like to know if there are people who’ve had negative experiences with it—I’d also like to understand how it works. We’d also welcome any other information about hypnotherapy! Please email all your information to this address: pietnose@hotmail.com Best regards, Piet
