Hypnosis training courses what are the differences

There are more and more hypnosis training programs these days, which is obviously a good thing. With more and more on offer, there is also more and more difference. Also the trainers are different and have their own approach. Below I list the biggest differences.

Hypnosis training, which one do you want to do?

When you want to learn hypnosis and pursue hypnosis training, there is a difference in what is offered. However, you want something that suits you. I am also often asked these questions so I list them below.

After completing the training, will I be able to help people with hypnosis?
If that’s your goal, you’ll need to check whether the program is tailored to real-world practice and whether you’ll gain enough knowledge and skills to truly start helping people. Some institutes claim that you’ll be a coach after just a few days, and if you feel you don’t need much more than that, then that’s the right choice for you.

If you want to discover more procedures, then a multi-day training is naturally the best choice. There are differences there too as some do it in a row and then let go and others spread it out over months so you can integrate everything and have something to look forward to.

We have even chosen to provide the hypnosis training courses in such a way that they are distributed and you can always redo them (for free) if you wish. For some people, that's a godsend.

Will my clients be reimbursed for hypnosis therapy after I complete the training?
If that’s a criterion for you, you’ll need to complete a three-year hypnosis training program. That way, you can be certain for now that it will be covered. This is likely to change in 2017, but until then, you’re guaranteed reimbursement.

You already notice, I think, that if you will take a hypnosis course like this now that you will come out exactly in 2017 when you graduate. So for now it's uncertain what will happen then, although I do think the NBVH and the NVVH will go after it to have hypnosis treatments continue to be reimbursed.

That does make you dependent on them, and the question is whether you want to....

Is a short-term hypnosis training course really effective?
That depends on the individual. For some, it may be sufficient because they already have extensive experience with coaching, hypnosis, or NLP and run their own practice. In that case, a short-term hypnosis training course serves as a valuable supplement. I myself regularly take short hypnosis courses, but I do notice that they often leave out many important topics. There’s a reason why professional training takes three years…

What exactly are the differences between hypnosis training programs

You have short-term hypnosis training courses that cover a few techniques and inductions, giving you a good foundation for doing hypnosis.

You have the somewhat longer hypnosis training courses of 7 to 12 days that allow you to get a little more involved. You also often discover there how you really need to start dressing up a hypnosis session to make it successful.

Our basic hypnosis training is 16 days and in it you will discover the same as the above with the difference that NLP is also taught. That's a method for bringing about rapid change and a communication model that allows you to influence. And that is very valuable, especially to lead into a session.

We also have an advanced hypnosis training program (master practitioner) that goes much further than the rest. That too takes 16 days and in it you will discover techniques (like Quantum Hypnosis) that you won't find anywhere else in hypnosis training. There you also discover how to turn every session into something magical so that the client is always convinced.

And then, of course, you have the three-year hypnosis training programs that allow you to get reimbursed for your therapy. You discover there how to create hypnosis scripts and a lot about the psychology of a problem. Very interesting, but they often miss the magic....

So you see there is a lot of choice and you need to have some things clear for yourself.

  • Want to get reimbursed? Then follow a 3-year professional training program
  • Want to learn hypnosis in addition to what you already know? Then often a short hypnosis training course is fine
  • Want to really create magic with hypnosis with your client? Then you should be with us

So it's important to know what you want so you can make a good choice and not be disappointed because it wasn't clear to you. So think about this carefully before you decide to do hypnosis training.

Thanks for your PDF. I think it’s really good, but I’m definitely more into mesmerism—that’s what draws me in. Regards, Chris
