Australian swimmers hypnotized at Olympics
Hypnosis at the Olympics! Australian swimmers owe their exceptional performance to hypnosis. The coach hired a hypnotist and has admitted as much and was very open about this to the press
Hypnosis at the Olympics
The swimmers' coach had hired the hypnotist because he noticed that the Australian swimmers were tired after races and still were before the competition. You have to imagine that such a competition takes an enormous amount of effort and that the night's sleep was not enough to recharge.
The swimmers became increasingly fatigued during the Olympics, and you understand that this is when you lose speed and strength. The coach understood this too and intervened by hiring a hypnotist. He did what the coach wanted because his swimmers got...
- A reduction and faster recovery from this fatigue
- a reduction in mental tension before the start of competitions, so both the muscular system and nerves were perfectly relaxed and fresh as they entered the water.
The coach explained this to the press, saying that hypnosis in sports was still in its infancy, but that he was very excited about the results. The top swimmer on the Australian team was also very appreciative of hypnosis.
She said, "I am very ecstatic about it, there is nothing more delightful before the start of a game '.
About 30 minutes before the game, they gathered and the hypnotist came over. He put them into hypnosis and 2 minutes before the start he took them out and they were completely relaxed with super focus. This caused the Australians to win five of the seven titles in swimming in the men's event. In the women, Dawn Fraser, was the first swimmer to complete the 100 meters in less than one minute.
Indeed ... it was the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne!!!
In 1956, the swimmers from Australia were supreme and their "secret" weapon was hypnosis. However, they made no secret of that at all and were instead blazing with enthusiasm. That was exactly 56 years ago and it is still in its infancy. What could have happened? I have no idea, but will you help me get it out of its infancy by doing it? After all, it is very easy to learn hypnosis and it can be so rewarding. Take a look here.
You could say hypnosis is still used in sports, only you call it differently. You do hear words like Flow or Visualizations more often and then you talk about trance, or hypnosis. The other day I heard a shortstop from the New York Yankees say about Visualizations, "I don't really believe in it but if I don't do it, I play worse so I do it!
You too can use visualizations, flow and hypnosis to improve your performance. Mind and body are separated only in language and it doesn't matter which side you start from 😉 One affects the other. Can you imagine if you start influencing both. So hypnosis in the Olympics is not new at all and even the results are good. Now just better education and you can get started at the next Olympics. Will you participate? Then do take a good hypnosis course first 😉
I'd love to hear your opinion of course!
