"I'm constantly looking at what can be done better," he says.

Guido Speelziek (Pronunciation = Gudo) is operations manager at Hypnosis Institute Netherlands. In that role, all his business life experience actually comes together.

In fact, he attended the trainings at the HIN, assisted there as well, worked at the HIN Support for the community and was eventually asked to become operations manager.

In this role, not only does the experience of being a client and working in the HIN support team come in handy. His experience in IT and administration from his previous work, as well as his experience for organizing parties and large projects, such as Rocking up X-mas in which he delivered Christmas packages to more than 1,000 families in 20 cities, is also valuable in his current role at the HIN.

In his current role, Guido ensures that all processes run smoothly. Training, assisting, examining, organizing events and making sure clients and colleagues get the right information on time.

"I am constantly looking at what can be improved."
Says Guido.

His ideal is to make himself missable at HIN, because then everything runs perfectly."That's not going to happen, but that's my attitude. That's how I'm working with it to keep everything running smoothly. We keep improving and optimizing all the time."

He enjoys when things run better all at once and someone is left with less work, or clients are helped better because we optimize something in the process.

"It all comes together beautifully then," he says.

In addition to working as operations manager at the HIN, Guido also has a hypnotherapy practice. "There I basically do the same thing, optimizing processes and making them better, but with people."
