Fear of heights is an interesting fear
Fear of heights is very common and is an interesting fear. It is interesting because, of course, being at height can also be unsafe. So it can also perfectly well be a real fear and that is what makes this fear so special
Vertigo
Fear of heights is common and usually there is nothing wrong with it. People can live just fine with vertigo and avoid overly high things like a Ferris wheel or walking on mountain trails.
It becomes different if you start avoiding things like apartment buildings or don't even dare to stand on stairs. People who work in tall buildings can also suffer from vertigo. I work a lot with people who suffer from that.
Just the other day I had a session with a man who was transferred to another floor due to reorganization. From 1 high he now had to go to 13 high. That's quite a difference.
1 high he thought was ok, but 13 high really became a problem. The building consisted of many windows and that was totally a problem for him. His fear of heights was really triggered by that.
After a few conversations with a psychologist that didn't really help for him, he came to me. Hypnotherapy is the most effective therapy against a fear of heights so it was a good decision.
After just 1 session we were done and now he can return to work without any fear of height and, of course, the company was also greatly benefited.
vertigo therapy
When you experience a fear of heights, you don't actually see those heights at all. Often you don't see anything at all and that is exactly the problem. After all, if you did see it then you wouldn't have this fear.
In hypnotherapy, we do two very important things with vertigo.
- We trace the cause and we transform the feeling
- We make sure you can see everything clearly again so fear no longer has a hold on you
Those 2 things are essential for good results. Fortunately, through hypnotherapy we always get to the cause so if you don't know that now, it's fine.
Hypnosis is very effective and is definitely recommended for anxiety. Our institute specializes in it and we have been treating anxiety for years. As a phobia doctor, I have helped hundreds of people with anxiety and especially with fear of heights.
It is good if you are afraid of heights to make the image you see before you panoramic. Did you know that an unconscious image triggers the reaction of vertigo?
If you then change that image then the vertigo will be gone too. You can already do that yourself. Good luck and let me hear how it goes.
