Every Behavior Is Hypnosis

Unconscious information processingTo me, hypnosis is very different from what most people think about it. Many people have a certain idea about hypnosis that is not true. Not crazy of course when you see what is broadcast on TV. It does not contribute to proper education about hypnosis.

Every behavior is hypnosis

When you consider that we receive 11.2 million bits of information per second. How much of that do you think you consciously process? 1 million, about 5%, so 560,000? Or maybe only 100,000? That's only 1%....

It's even much less. There are only 60, which is only 0.00054%. That's not much....

So what information you process unconsciously is almost 100%. When you consider that you also make decisions, adopt behaviors and organize your life based on that information, it's no wonder you do the same thing over and over.

So every behavior you do, you unconsciously do automatically. Doesn't that sound like hypnosis? In hypnosis, you also do everything unconsciously automatically and respond to suggestions. You are, as it were, doing the same thing to yourself now.

You give yourself all kinds of suggestions to which you respond. If those suggestions reinforce you and you get better from them then there's nothing wrong. Super!

However, if you are giving yourself suggestions that are holding you back then it's time to change that. Don't you think? Consciously you can't. You have seen how little influence you have consciously.

Unconsciously, however, you can have a lot of influence. You can do that through hypnosis. By going into hypnosis, you can give yourself positive suggestions that you start to believe. This will automatically make you do something different, which is super.

Learning hypnosis is quite easy. You can take a workshop or even get monthly video lessons. However, you can also work with the image you have of yourself.

Sunday I was at a seminar and spoke with a woman there who was holding herself back in a lot of things. She said, "It's like I'm standing in a tub of concrete and my hands are tied behind my back.

Can you imagine what the problem is?

Of course. If you don't change that unconscious view, everything you do will be meaningless. Everything you will then undertake will come to nothing.

Yet many people don't think this way. They think yet only try something else or employ a different strategy. Sure, that can bring one determines success, but it is not nearly as effective as it could be.

How do you see yourself? If you want to share that you can do so below. Then I may have a solution for you or someone else....

Please share this article with your network so we can help each other make the unconscious a little more aware.
