Energetic Hypnosis and Mesmerism
Years ago, we gave the energetic hypnosis training course. That was a one-time hypnosis training then and the trainees immediately went full steam ahead with it. Some now give the training themselves and that is perfect, that way it is spread.
One of our trainees then, Tom Scheers has delved further after that. He had been working with various forms of energy for more than 25 years, but he took several Mesmerism courses after the training.
There, he discovered the ancient wisdom and rituals of Franz Anton Mesmer who caused a furor in the 18th century. Mesmer treated more than 3,000 patients a day in his heyday, and they all paid him, too!
Mesmer and its Magic
But what exactly was Mesmer doing? He worked with suggestion, and from that came hypnosis and hypnotherapy. James Braid thought that was the most important thing in Mesmer's work, and he was partly right. Hypnotherapy is now increasingly used as a therapy tool in its own right, which is, of course, super.
What Braid didn't quite realize was that Mesmer did even more than just give suggestions. He not only gave the suggestion but did so in a special way. He achieved results that others who made the same suggestions did not. But what did he do?
Mesmer also used energy and rituals to almost force his patient to make a change. Of course, these patients also wanted the results and firmly believed in Mesmer, and he had some tricks for that.
The Rituals Of Mesmer
There are a number of rituals you can apply immediately to get better results in therapy and also in communication. They are the "forgotten" rituals that few people know about and thus apply. When you do start doing them, you will start getting remarkable results.
One ritual you can apply is the ritual of the circle. It goes as follows.
When you talk to someone imagine a circle that is around you and around the an
der. A big circle that both of you surround and then notice what happens. It is then as if you are inviting the person to step into your circle of influence.
When I do that with people I can send my energy all the way down and with the other person it happens.
That may sound like magic, but anyone can learn it. You will find that you can then be much more influential in your communication but if you are a therapist also in your therapy sessions.
