Easter is a time to stand up for yourself

The Resurrection

Everyone dies a few times in their life....

Dead, yes, you could put it that way. The little kid dies, the adolescent dies, and maybe the young man dies too.

And then someone else steps up. The little child becomes an adolescent, the adolescent becomes a young man, and the young man becomes a man.

Thus, someone is always " dying " and someone is always rising. And that's a good thing. You don't want to remain that little child who knows nothing and needs to be taken care of. That child is allowed to die, so to speak, so that a 'better version' will rise

Easter

When you're young, it comes very naturally, but when you get a little older, it's hard to let yourself die. To reinvent yourself and rise again.

When I was 30, my younger self died. The younger me who felt worthless, who had to use all kinds of things to feel good. He died in the kitchen and it took a while for a fresh new man to emerge from the cave.

It took more than a few days, but someone else stepped up.

And last year again. Again an "old me" died and a fresh new Ed rose.

Every year you should actually die and get up again. Just like before. Fresher, better, more beautiful, stronger, more loving, more powerful and simply happier.

I also want to be crucified every year. Not necessarily physically of course with nails in my hands, but with the feeling that I may die again so someone else can rise.

That my old problems die, that my limiting beliefs die, that my old self dies and rises again, so to speak.

It's Easter. A great time to rise.

In Love
