Every year I'm in a mastermind of sorts. With people who think differently, think bigger and are ambitious. We share pain and success, but most of all experiences and ideas. The great thing is that when you put ten creative and successful people in one room, magical things happen.
And this "weekend" is no different. These days I am in Zwolle with a group of entrepreneurs working on my business instead of in it. You need that as an entrepreneur, to hang out with people who get you, because most people just don't get you
Mastermind
Do you have one? A group of people who are smarter than you or stronger than you or more "successful" than you in some area? Where you are like the dumbest girl or boy in the class?
It's often very confronting to find out all you don't know yet, but it's much worse to not know. Not only that, you grow into it. If you hang out with people who are not much better than you then the opportunity for growth is very small.
When you train with people who are better than you, you almost never win. Very frustrating, but the growth is tremendous. When you sit with entrepreneurs who have bigger businesses than you do, turn more profits than you do, that's where you grow.
Maybe you don't have a business at all or don't even play sports fanatically. It's not about that. It's about what you like and who already has it. Can you join such a group. The growth then is really huge.
