Dexaprine as a weight-loss drug is simply dangerous

You have many ways and means people use to lose weight. For example, there are numerous shakes and so-called "weight loss pills" that promise you will lose so many pounds in 1 week. Now it is true that most people actually want to lose weight quickly and easily. But it is not healthy to lose weight so fast. It may be that you are going to lose 5 kilos in 1 week. However, it is very unhealthy. The first thing that goes away is fluid. So even if you weigh less, the percentage of bad fat remains the same. And it can be very dangerous too...

Losing weight fast can be dangerous

People losing weight and athletes should stop taking dexaprine. What exactly is dexaprine? Dexaprine is a sports supplement, mainly used by bodybuilders and strength athletes. It is a fatburner, which gives a lot of energy and is said to suppress the feeling of hunger.

Since March, however, 11 people have already come forward because they are coming down with serious symptoms. This is what the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) reports. People report the following complaints: palpitations, chest pain, nausea, headaches and even in one case cardiac arrest.

There are also complaints on social media such as Facebook and Twitter about its effects among athletes such as bodybuilders. Dexaprine is only sold through web shops. The NVWA has already ordered web shops to stop selling dexaprine.

The people who have already bought it should be well informed by the web shops themselves. All the disadvantages, dangers and side effects that the drug has should be properly explained. The web shops say they will do this. The NVWA keeps a close eye on the shops to make sure they really do this.
