Allergy and Hypnosis

You can do many things with hypnosis. Of course it is not a miracle cure but you can do miraculous things with it. My belief is that with hypnosis you can begin to reach your full potential. What that is for you of course I do not know but I am sure you can do more than you think

Allergy and hypnosis

People have various problems they encounter in their lives. One of them may be allergies.

An allergy is terrible. When you have an allergy,
you have to be very careful about a lot of things. Especially when it’s a food allergy. And even more so when it involves, for example, milk, starch, or gluten.

How many people have allergies is not known. The Allergy Patients Association estimates that one in three Dutch people suffer from an allergy. That is incredibly high and that number is only growing.

What can you do about it?

With hypnosis, allergies can be resolved quickly. Often in as little as an hour, people are rid of them for good. That, of course, is fantastic. What is even better, however, is that it can also be learned.

Viewing allergy as a behavior makes it changeable. It's not just a physical reaction

Allergy, in fact, is a form of behavior. When you look at the definition of behavior, it is "a reaction to something outside. So, for example, pollen. Behavior can be learned or unlearned. Now of course this is not that simple, but if you know how, then suddenly simplicity is just around the corner.

The Solution

One way to get rid of an allergy is as follows:

  • Allergy naming, e.g., dog allergy
  • With which animal don't you have it? Or which dog? For example, a cat
  • Make the person think of the cat and anchor that feeling by pressing the knee
  • Visualize a Plexiglas wall from floor to ceiling, wall to wall. It is completely sealed and nothing can pass by or through it
  • See the allergy (in this case, the dog) on the other side of the wall

Then tell the person that:

'Your immune system has made a mistake. It knows how it can react to a cat so it also knows how it can now start reacting the same way to a dog'

And then —at your own pace—you make the wall thinner and thinner.
Keep making it thinner and let it disappear as the dog gets closer.

The dog slowly comes to you. You get closer and closer together to the point that you can pet the dog

Then get someone out of hypnosis and you can go test it in real life

This may sound simple, and it is. The finesse is in paying close attention to make sure the other person doesn't slip into the allergic reaction. To learn it you do need some training, of course.

When you master this method, you can help so many people. It's incredible. You learn this method in the training courses with us, especially in the NLP training and the hypnosis basic training. It is a growing market and it would be good if more people become good at this. That's why I pay a lot of attention to it in the trainings.

By the way, it will probably be the last NLP training I will teach so if you still want to start learning it, now is the time to get in.

If you have any questions about this or comments, I would love to read them below.

Please also bring this post to the attention of your network on facebook, linkedin, twitter and anyone else who can benefit from this. Then together, we can increasingly eliminate allergies.

Hi Edwin, Interesting article! Can this only be applied to mild “allergy cases,” or does that not matter? I know a girl who has a nut allergy, but she also goes into shock if she were to eat nuts. I wouldn’t dare try that, but maybe it has to do with experience? I just saw that you won’t be offering NLP training anymore. Is that just for this year, or is it permanently, and what’s the reason? It could, of course, be because you already offer a program that’s a mix of both hypnosis and NLP—the best of both worlds? Best regards, Joop

Hello Edwin, As you mention, hypnosis is not a miracle cure, but it is still very useful for all kinds of problems and helps many people. In the past, I was able to help someone with eczema who had been seeing doctors for years and had tried many different ointments without success. In any case, your work is very important, and I’ve really enjoyed the various videos. Keep up the great work, Edwin—maybe we’ll meet someday. Johnny Demuysere
